As a "poor" white kid in the U.S. I _hated_ those rich kids with their affluenflammation. Then when I was 18, I went to Mexico for 2 weeks to lay the foundation for an orphanage. It was about that time I realized, I had the worst case of them all. Because I had actually been _filthy_ rich, but I was completely ignorant of it. At least the ultra rich snobs knew they had it. Fortunately, my case wasn't terminal! If you make more than $43,000 (U.S.) a year, *you're in the top 3% of "earners" in the world.*

Gil Shackelford What? What’s the relation here? I’m no expert, are you saying polio, small pox, etc. vaccine research was funded by private labs in an effort to profit from their discovery? While I support Amazon jobs, I don't think the government should massively subsides Amazon to get jobs in their area. I want Amazon and don't mind supporting Jeff Bezos through buying products but I don't support Jeff Bezos by giving my tax dollars to the company.

You don't give you tax dollars to the company - this is the stupidity the song is talking about. Your city and state get $0 from Amazon.. Amazon comes in and faces $12 Billion in tax bills so they don't move in... they get a tax break of $3 Billion which entices them to go for it.. Your city and state now get $9 Billion from Amazon instead of $0.

So much salt, love your videos! You are by far one of my favorite parts of RU-vid. I wanted to challenge the idea in this video though. Isn’t it unlibertarian to claiming that people are simply ungrateful if they challenge the value of products currently available? For example, if you think gluten is dangerous for human consumption, wouldn’t it be better to push for wheat and other crops to be unsubsidized. The same with essential oils and anti-vaccinators (not on board with either of those trains). Are they being ungrateful, or are they thinking that maybe there is a better way and using their personal liberty to choose that?

So many people I know have been fighting chronic affluenflammation. It started subtle, just an intolerance to processed foods, fats, and beef that has been feed anything other than grass. But in the last 5 or so years it's really gotten out of hand, they've developed intolerance to gluten, sugar from corn, ALL GMO foods, milk with A1 protein, and recently to the basic building blocks of all life like sugar and glutamate, and water that hasn't been made alkaline.

If I don't take a prescription and keep taking one or more but instead try to research health for myself and see what I can do.... most normal people on the right or left are not with me! Even my father who owned a health food store thought I was crazy.

Not in disagreement with message per se, but commoditization expands supply at expense of quality because market trades an undifferentiated good, which leads to cutting corners. Efficiency at the cost of the essence of the thing does have consequences. Solution in capitalism is simple: differential pay for differential good/service. Consumer needs to be informed & pay for the quality good. Choice often is not present
