They put this together from a thought to filming in 10 days... and if you listen the the middle of the bigging (before the rap) you can hear the music from Message In the Bottle but it's so smooth you almost miss it. I would challenge anyone to pick a genre for Ren... other than artist.

This was another brilliant ReNtake (retakes are basically Ren putting his own spin on songs he loves). Just Ren doing Ren things. Crazy runs and harmonies, filthy bars to remind us that he is also still a cheeky boi, and that voice that’s perfect for Sting/The Police songs. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into everything he does. We’re just lucky to witness it 🐰🕳️

Hello guys! Thanks for your entertaining reactions! I consider Ren to be a musical genius, a language equilibrist and an incredibly creative storyteller. I'm 60 now and the two artists I admire the most are Ren and Dimash. I am completely addicted to Dimash's amazing voice. It has no parallel in world history! He is also a creative, musical genius and makes music in his very own genuine way. Ren and Dimash can take any song to new heights! They are both independent artists and it may take longer for them to reach the whole world than if they are tied to music publishers. Hope they always remain creatively free to do whatever they want! Retakes are essentially him covering songs with entirely his own lyrics or as in this case a only few of his own. I say "only" but without having done a word count, its likely a majority of his own lyrics. Until this retake, they consisted of the original music.

ren's "Retakes" are his versions of a Cover or mix of songs. A Cover implies doing the original of a song, Ren likes to make it perfectly clear that when its not his own song but also likes to add is own twist on things. so instead of calling them covers because as you noticed they aren't like the originals and have his little twang or smoothness to them aswell lyrical adaptation and a mix of other songs or pop-culture. Ren is fully support credit to all those who inspires him or even uses his content so he doesn't copyright strike anyone and credits all of his works to the original creator most of the time and if it isn't mentioned in the description of videos he makes sure to mentions it on his livestreams.

No one is more talented then Ren he is the best!!!! 100%he is brilliant!!!!

If he was able to tour or put on shows he would have blown up by now. I have autoimmune disease and it is a struggle everyday. You hurt 24 hours a day and the fatigue. Some days are better than others but that is where it gets you because you try and push yourself. Then you are down for a few days trying to recover. Inflammation takes over your body. Ren's is a 10 times worse than mine if not more. Being misdiagnosed for so many years with Lyme disease has really crippled his body. There is no cure at this point and it is pretty amazing to see the stuff he is able to do now. REACT to his lyric video Seven Sins. Amazing song and you will have an idea of what he went through and felt.

If he does a "Retake, Cover or Mashup" it's always gonna have a very original/strong sound design change. He's a master at it.

When you see the videos of Ren performing busking on the street on his own, he can be a human jukebox. The crowd shouting out anything, and he plays it and sings it incredibly, often sounding like the original, but with his own spin on it like spice on top.

Rens and the Big Push version of Stings "English Man In New York" is way better, more fun, than Stings. IMHO The Big Push those three guys together kill covers every time.
