The artist is Melanie Safka she was very big in the 70’s and it’s FOLK music not country. I love it!

BP is right that this song resonates with so many people. This was one of the first songs I heard by Ren, and I immediately felt less alone. Perhaps if I didn't know that Ren has improved so much, I would find it sad but now I actually find it uplifting and it makes me happy that he's come so far in his life since this song❤ love seeing you two guys together btw😊

With his musical genius, Ren is able to convey the unbearable with his rhymes and music just as he did with Suicide. This is TOTALLY heartbreaking. Not 1 in 10,000 could really understand the horrific pain Ren suffered as the disease ate away at him piece by piece and he is still not out of the woods. Even if I said imagine the worst case senario, most couldn't.

I actually dont know this one. Its not one on my Amazon playlist for sure. Theres a quite a few songs off of the Freckled Angels album that hasn't been reacted to by anyone thats crossed my algorithm, good songs.

This is actually one of my favorites; might be top 10 if I were forced to rank his solo, non-series (Money Game, Jenny & Screech, Love Music) stuff. Music has saved my life and sanity more times than I can count in my 45 years. If this joint would've come out 25 years ago, it'd probably have be my theme song for a ling time. (It's True North by Bad Religion currently.)

@@AnthonyRay I totally understand your point but maybe I'm naive to how things work for you getting paid for providing some fantastic content via the GENIUS of Ren. I'm sure I've watched several of your Ren & HM reactions, which I really enjoyed, cheers. If YT would cease to pay you for all your future reactions I can understand why you're reluctant to risk that but if it means you wouldn't receive payment for just this particular one, then personally, I would take that risk. My point was really to highlight Ren's words are more important than money and wasn't meant as a personal dig at you, more of a general statement to us all... Apologies for any negativity caused.
