I don’t know the original songs, but I am here for anything Ren does and this was beautiful. The artistry to take EDM tracks and make a mashup so emotional is incredible. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into music and every performance 🖤🐰🕳️
I sobbed by the time this song was complete. Ren is poppin everywhere i can only imagine the pull from everybody wanting something. But ren has stated to hes an introvert that loves performing and release of music. But everybody needs to remember he also is still fighting his health battles. When youre sick its a real loneliness that only those whove experienced it can truly feel. Ren helps us feel less alone. We all must remember our diagnosis is only part of us, it doesn't define us. The battle continues. Do not give up. Faith things get better. Lost is where i lost it. . . Me too ren. Im still trying too everyday
Ren simply makes music to help whatever he is feeling at that time and without him knowing he is also assisting with so many dealing with similar things. Its never presented in a way of boasting about his trials or presented in a way he sees his worse then someone else but in a way that is open honest and allows those who hear it to discuss their own trials.
So, i like ren. But i LOVE Fred Again. Like, i listened to nothing but him for over a month. His boiler room set is my workout playlist. I'm autistic, and i am very bad at processing emotions. And the main way im able to just dwell in emotion and process what I'm feeling is music. And sometimes I listen to specific songs if i want to feel a particular emotion. Fred Again made me feel in ways i didn't even think were possible. And Ren just fucking broke me, man.
I hope it's ok to comment, but I just wanted to say this: there's no right or wrong way to feel emotions. Autism can make you process things in a way that those who are not on the spectrum ("neurotypical") do not, but so long as you don't have to turn to any unhealthy coping mechanisms, then there really is no wrong way to process your emotions. Feel, dwell, absorb and process in the way that feels natural and safe to you - and music is a fantastic tool to use to do that. I work in an ER and I see so many people on the spectrum who get frustrated because they think they feel "differently" and it makes them feel like "outsiders", when the reality is that everyone feels and thinks differently - that's what makes us unique, that's what makes us human. @t-and-p it's okay, and when I say processing, I include identifying them as well. I joke that I have five emotions (happy, sad, afraid, angry, excited) and anything more complicated than those are too complex for me to figure out on my own, which is where the music comes in!

Self awareness, workarounds, understanding of your limits, and a solid range of recognisable emotions that you're able to joke and self-deprecate about, whilst still dealing with them healthily? You are killing it, my friend - don't let anyone tell you different! 👍 Taking a while to identify more complex emotions is really normal and, for many, something they work on all their lives. I often have to sit back and try to figure out how I feel about something, and I've met people aged 6 to 106 who have to do the same. No shame in it, it's totally normal and natural. Keep doing what you're doing and enjoy the fabulous music out there 🤩
One of the things I enjoy about my autism is the level of self reflection and ability to analyze things in general. Your comment suggests you are similar in that matter (I don't have Adhd though, dunno how much that alters processing as I see in my son/husband it is a lot disturbed by impulses, energy shift, I am a lot more balanced normally). I dropped this on Black Pegasus' reaction to the Fred Again mashup that Ren did, and knew I had to send it your way for comment... In short - the community of reactors and listeners is an organic, evolving, unscripted entity: we just live through the music and the feelings and the reactions and comments take us places we never knew we would get to... I brought up the idea, that was new to me, that when we listen and feel Ren's words and literary awesomeness, we are really getting to see a slice of ancient Wales... They have been using a style of poetry and meter in Welch for countless generations called "cynghanedd".... it relies, and builds on, the idea of alliteration, syllable stress, and internal rhyming to create their content and writing...we had internal rhyme schemes dropping in the 12th century!!!!! I was just so amazed and blown away by the idea of this I had to send it to you to see if you had heard of it, or had talked to Ren about it at all.... just more intelligence for our minds sir!!! Hang in there brother. It's amazing how the universe works sometimes, like that song was given to you at the perfect moment. There are so many examples of this out there. I am lucky enouth to have had the pleasure of meeting Ren a few times in Brighton, he really is a lovely, humble young man and I too and so grateful for him. Keep doing your thing man, love.

Being familiar with Fred Again's brilliant high vibe EDM tracks, I was Not expecting an emotional accoustic cover but, my bad, one should always expect the unexpected with Ren! And he really pulls out the feels just basically busking for us all from his living room to ours; from his soul to ours... And then I watched your reaction- or rather Connection to it, and you've got me in the feels again😢 Being responsible for pretty much Everything in your life and having to stay strong and keep going- with most days, weeks months feeling like a never-ending groundhog day sure can feel lonely at times and pondering those thoughts at night you mention. And then a high will come (for it surely does, even if not as frequently or quickly as we'd like) and you'll lay there being glad you kept going in those tougher times. Keep going Anthony, you're doing a great job for your kids, and for your viewers /listeners - you do have Purpose even if at times you can't see/feel it 💪❤️🔥
