Totally agree with this. Everyone yelling “is that it?!” (Including me) should consider that ren was still trying to be the bigger person. He could have made them look much worse.
Hi, did Ren say it was a Diss? sorry I'm not trying to negative or confrontational on your comments, it's just a genuine question, but I agree with you, yes around a year of emotions over the ordeal is his as he says "F^ck it" moment.
@@wembley636 Ren no, everyone else is calling it a diss and I just don't see it that way. If Ren had to do a part 2, that might be a diss because by then Ren would (hopefully) be over the rage. But this one, not a diss.
Someone said on another reaction that although Kujos girlfriend was probably just riding for her man… “the horse your enemy rides into battle is also your enemy”
Meh, I think there's a line between riding for your man and fully inserting yourself. Kujo spread a lot of misinformation through post and messages. She was riding for him in her message exchanges with Ren. She crossed the line from supportive girlfriend into straight up accomplice once she literally fabricated entire segments of a contract.
I'm quite happy for Ren to #SpankTheGreedy whenever he feels it necessary! LOL Sam Perry-Falvey & Ren are a deadly duo when it comes to creating top-tier impactful music videos without crazy label marketing budgets. This is *such* high quality. :)
Lol, naw.... For ren's benefit and peace of mind, i kinda hope theyre smart enough to stfu.... For my benefit, however, daaammn i wanna hear that part 2 😬 😁
I got the impression that she was trying to play him expecting him to make a mistake forgetting Ren has women throwing themselves at him every day 😂✌❤🐦.
I have seen a lot of jaws dropping watching these reactions. What do you do? LAUGH!!! I love it!!! Yes, all my comments: Kujo poke the bear we need a part 2!!!!! Don’t forget the girlfriend threatened to break Ren’s kneecaps. Ren has more music coming, also an album, Slaughterhouse ❤ you guys ❤❤❤😊
Yes. Poke the bear. But, for me, not for part 2, but because Ren has held back on exercising his Legal options, and Ithink he should. Go after them legally. that is, for blackmail, attempted extortion, damages, lost income, legal fees and the illegal copyright strike. Just for starters! Then theres the kneecapping threat the girlfriend made - in writing! And she creatively edited the original contract ( that's Forgery!) I think ALL Legal Consequences should be applied. @BarSponge1290
I think Kujo's gf low level flirting was in hope of Ren reacting a certain way so she could trash him. I love the part where Ren skip's around Kujo...kinda like i'm a psycho and i love it! 🤣
Love the choir singing, "Stol-en sample, stol-en sample, stol-en sample...". :) I'm not sure what else they were singing but that part came through loud and clear! :)
Thanks man. I've spent my entire weekend watching this video and as many reactions as i could! It's the most beautiful expression of anger in art that has ever been.
Ren makes almost all of his own beats already. Sick Boi was a rare exception. After all this, you're right. It'll be even rarer that he uses someone elses beats, unless it's in a de-monetised retake.
Hi Guys, Great reaction, if you watch the Choir they all move to Kojo but Ren is not in that Scene, basically referring to the illegal sample and then they are all dead.
Exactly he gave him a warning kugo to see if there's a part two. I'm not gonna lie I think all of us have that desire to see Kujo do something even more stupid and see part two even though the better part of me hopes that doesn't happen the less healthy part kind of wants to see it too I think that's just human nature at least that's what I'm telling myself because I want to see it too I'm not gonna lie I'm not saying thats right I'm just saying
I'm really interested to know what's going on in Kujo's mind. He's obviously made some really bad decisions and I'd like to know how he came to them. I've never learned English, but I understand most of it and I've also watched the video of Ren in which he explains everything. I think I'll have to try to read all the texts he showed. But will I get an answer to my question then? 🤔Thanks for the reaction!
He also expects that verbally when people start going after kugo and asked people not to personally attack him from Rens which we should all abide by in my own opinion. I never went after KJ was mad as I was in the jump because well I'm not like that one and second of all got this he really does we all need to respect his wishes and trust he knows what he's doing and I trust that personally
I believe Kujo Beat Down 2, will be sung by his lawyers. No use of losing more energy over this. And for all the things Kujo did wrong, I believe his Girlfriend went way above that. Manipulating a copy of the contract to win in the publics eye? And that's just one thing. There surely will be more. I don't understand what Kujo thinks there is left of his beat making days. The moment it was clear that he stole a clip of the Koutev Bulgarian National Ensemble, to use and sell in his beat. His career was over. Who will take the risk of buying one of his beats anymore? And the entitlement of it all to not just grab a clip of one artist, but to grab a piece of the Bulgarian culture... Koutev pledged his life to save as much of Bulgarian folk songs and dances he could. And here comes Kujo, and just grabs it, with his greedy hands.
My theory on why Kujo turned down Ren's offer to collab on a future song in exchange for dropping the copyright strike is simple. Dishonest, deceitful people like Kujo can't fathom that there are truly honest and trustworthy people like Ren in this world. Kujo probably thought Ren wouldn't honor his side of the bargain and find a way to back out of the deal because that's what a sneaky worm like Kujo himself would do if the situation was reversed. If you live by lies and manipulation, how can you believe there are good humans like Ren who are just trying to make everything right?
I am a Renegade but there is something that Ren's side of the story doesn't take into account. And this is not a knock against Ren or his handling of the situation. But from the perspective of Kujo the publishing was incorrectly filed. So he wasn't getting paid anything. So if someone is offering you more work when you haven't been paid you publishing for the first one, it's understandable that he was upset and skeptical. (I do know about the uncleared sample). That is a separate issue. Although he, Kujo definitely took it to the negative and is massively uniformed as to how the industry works. Especially considering that it's very common for the Publishing companies to have the wrong songwriter information assigned. (Now is it a mistake by the person filing the song or is it something the publishers do given that it delays payout?!?) This is something that I have actually experienced with over half of my song catalog through one of the biggest publishers in the US. So it's vital that you keep your head and keep your priorities straight as a professional, as you never truly understand where the fault actually is. I have full faith the Ren is being honest and transparent, and I have been very entertained by the whole thing. I'm just not going to be too hard on Kujo just yet. When you're younger and things go sideways, people tend to say some dumb stuff they regret later. Great reaction.
Whilst all that is true, it doesn't take into account how Kujo et al handled themselves once the dialogue began. Ren was 100% on Kujo's side on getting paid, and agreed to press the publisher on Kujo's behalf as it WAS the publishers responsibility (not Rens) It could/should have ended there, but Kujo ultimately wanted more than was agreed. Then there's the lying and defamation, putting out false extracts from the contract, etc... the absolutely unconscionable things, designed specifically to damage Rens public reputation. That was personal - and had absolutely nothing at all to do with the initial issues. Lastly, there's the false copyright strike... which wasn't just a di*k move - but an actionable offense in law. There are some other legal offenses related to the contract, too... that involved long words and terms of art that I cannot remember, but which knowledgeable industry lawyers on here have pointed out. The guy did 'bad stuff' that caused a whole series of torts. And that was all AFTER Ren had fully empathised and agreed to help him get his payments from the publishers? The behaviour was utterly malicious! When you combine this with the fact that he brought most of this mess on himself, by selling a product that he didn't own, without disclosing the fact... thus complicating the publishing splits. Via beatstars, where sales are bound by beatstars own terms, which explicitly state that he is agreeing that he's cleared any samples prior to the sale? So... He caused the initial problem - but that's fine, it could have been fixed. Then, he rejected Rens offer to side with him to help get the payments through faster! Lastly, he did nasty stuff that had nothing to do with his contract rights. Yet, there's no indication at all, that Ren was mad about the initial error. He's absolutely furious about the rank greed and overt nastiness, exhibited after. Rightly so, too. There can be absolutely no excuse for it.
I get what you mean, but isn’t it Kujos responsibility to chase the publishers not Rens, how can Kujo be “tryna sort it for a year” yet Ren sorts it with the publishers and gets it all backdated so quickly, it seems more like Kujo was messaging Rens lawyer for a year and his lawyer wasn’t responding because it’s nothing to do with them, Lawyers don’t have time to email back another lawyer explaining how to do their job😂 to me it’s like you work in a office, your pay check don’t come through, do you go to your co worker and complain and ask him to pay you? Or do you go to the financial department who are ones who actually owe you money?😂 maybe I’m seeing it wrong as I have absolutely no experience in music, so maybe it’s not as black and white as I see it, but Kujo posts about how he’s made music for long time now, so surely he’d know publishing has nothing to do with artist
No. Loved this video, but I want kujobeats to apologize. Angry Ren is fun but I don't want Ren to have to go through any more bs. Maybe we can get more of angry Ren in a movie or something. While I agree that people shouldn't be surprised if they get jumped when they act like clowns, the thing about the internet is that it can be outrageously vicious. And even if he's a n a$$ , kujobeats is still a person. And Ren has asked people to leave them alone, so anyone harassing them is disrespecting Ren
