Okay as I got farther I realized you do not know. So Kujo did a beat that Ren bought on Beat Stars with an unlimited license stating he own the claim. It had a stolen sample of the choir and they came after it. In turn kujo tried to get Ren to help absorb that well Ren's lawyer said nope this is on you. As it went further Kujo kept wanting more money and more of the master split. Kujo had copyright strike Sick Boi and the video was down. Kujo and his GF talked a lot of shit about Ren and so after it all came to a head Ren said nope you get no money from me and took his own song down. RU-vid later got involved and removed the strike and the video is back up. Ren was absolutely done with Kujo being a greedy human. Ren has a 36 minute video with all the receipts and screen shots if you all are interested. There is the quick story.
Ren bullying? In fact it is the other way around. You need to watch the video that Ren has that explains what this is all about. The fact is Kujo Beats and the girlfriend are the actually the bullies. Ren stood up to them and appears to be winning this fight. This song is how he vents about it. They deserved everything they got and if they don't stop there will be more.
The lying sample-thief duo tried to take full ownership of the SickBoi song, you know-title song of the album? They slapped Rens channel with a strike and yt took the SickBoi video down... Full drama. Ren tried to reason with Kujo, even offered to make a new song together on 50-50 split, but the fool rejected it... Well... Lawyers are dealing with it now, and this song... is how Ren dealt with the angst, frustration and rage. We didn't know we needed it, but f*ck yeah!

"Kujo Beat Down" is three words, not 2 ("Kujo Beatdown" like in your title), and that's actually important here because the title is a double entendre (or even a triple); KujoBeats getting bodied ("Kujo Beatdown"), KujoBeats destroying his own career ("KujoBeat Down"), and Ren intentionally deciding to pull 'Sick Boi' containing Kujo's beat ("Kujo Beat Down")

This was the perfect response. Watch the video Ren released a week prior to the KBD drop. Ren did everything he could to resolve it, including beyond what he was contractually, legally & morally obliged to do. Ren came with receipts. No bullying or hate required. Ren has got this handled. With class.
So Ren made a 35 min video explaining this... Basically Ren bought a beat from beat stars (unlimited, and 1 time purchased) from Kujo. Kujo stoled the choir sample you hear in SickBoi. He then for some reason is attacking and suing Ren to give a percentage of SickBoi to him. Kujo also has his girl commenting and spreading lies on reddit and RU-vid about the contract. She even faked/edited the contract saying all lies and said messaged Ren saying she would break his kneecaps. Ren offered Kujo the opportunity to make a new song and split it 50/50 and he said no and even says Ren music sucks. Ren has that video explaining it and showed every texts and recipes so there's no hiding that Kujo is in the wrong. Kujo Beatdown was perfect art there diss.
This wasn't a diss, it was a warning. Plus Ren needed to work out his anger. As artists they video Ren put out would be worth watching. It could save you a lot of money one day if you ever buy a beat. Legal fees alone must be getting costly.
- Ren bought a beat with an unlimited license from a guy named Kujo Beats and creates a song called Sick Boi. - he releases it after Hi Ren blows up and it becomes the title track to his UK number 1 album, lots of people relate to the song a lot - Kujo is like : Yo sick track, glad to be part of your art - so far so good. - One day the song gets a copyright strike out of the blue and YT takes it down. - Ren contact's Kujo, saying what happened to my song? - Here's where things get complicated: Kujo nicked one sample in the beat and never paid the sample owner a penny/cent - the owner wants royalties - Apparently Ren's publishing team forgot to credit Kujo as co/producer for a while which was rectified fairly quickly - Kujo did the copyright strike to get Ren's attention, apparently but had no grounds to do so because he created the copyright issue by stealing the sample. Ren didn't breach copyright laws. - There is a huge back and forth between Ren, Kujo, lawyers, publishing, Kujo's girlfriend gets involved.... - According to Ren he tries to stay amicable as much as possible, willing to make concessions and go above and beyond of what is expected but also doesn't want to budge on some principles (like splitting the master 50-50) - Ren even offers to create a brand new song with Kujo and split that one 50/50 as sort peace offering/new beginning. It would have given Kujo lots of clout and brought the renegades into the mix - they tend to support anyone Ren's doing collabs with - Kujo refuses - The exchanges get more heated, the girlfriend keeps posting nasty things about Ren on public platforms, threatening Ren with physical violence, spreading lies - A good chunk of this is happening while Ren is prepping for his first solo show in 5 years which will be in front of a huge crowd and as we all know he's been through a lot both physically and mentally... the whole situation just sucks. - Despite Ren's efforts no peaceful solution can be found and fans keep asking why the song has been taken down which leads Ren to publish a lengthy explanation and the track you just reacted to. - Some elements of the Kujo Beat Down both sonically as well as cinematography related to the song Sick Boi. It's back up and worth listening to, to catch all the Easter Eggs. Worth mentioning the Dotta reference in the Kujo Beat Down: A fellow rapper (King Dotta) who Ren had a little almost spat with but which was peacefully resolved and they're good now.
It is much better if you know the background. The beginning starts similiar to Sick Boi which was produced with the beat from KujoBeats. Before Ren did a diss track with Dotty. That one is really funny.
Cliffnotes version: kujo produced a beat with a stolen sample (Bulgarian choir) and sold it on Beatstars with an unlimited license. Ren bought it and used it in his Sick Boi track. Sick Boi blew up. The choir wanted money from Kujo for their stolen sample (rightly so). So he chased Ren down for more money. Ren offered all kinds of stuff and he turned him down. Then he decided to pull Sick Boi down on RU-vid and threatened to take 100% of publishing and master that he isn't entitled to. His girlfriend jumped in and threatened to break Ren's knees. Ren acquired unlimited license to a beat for the Sick Boi track from a guy called KujoBeats. But that beat included an illegal sample from a choir. There was an issue with the publishing, something about content ID if I recall, so Ren's team was also in the wrong. Kujo's team filed an illegal copyright strike on Sick Boi and had it taken down. Anyways, Ren being Ren, he wants this man to get paid his due as well. He said sure man, we'll make sure the publishers pay you what you are owed. But that wasn't enough anymore, they wanted more. Ren wasn't having it, but he did make an incredible offer to Kujo. He told him let's make another track together, and we'll split that 50/50 and it'll get my fans behind you. But this man isn't very bright, he refused and asked for more. And then more. And then more. By the end of it, they were threatening to take 100% of the master. Not only that, but he was making up shit online. Calling Ren's character into question. Calling him a liar, calling him a coward. And his girlfriend was posting shit too. Making up clauses in the contract. Ren had a chat with her, and it she seemed amicable, then the next day she posted more shit about him online. Obviously, if you want the full story, check out Ren's video on it. "[...] he must have asked for some new percentages or something?" -- Yup. Greedy bastard. "[...]or just messing with your art..." -- Yeah, he took down Sick Boi, illegally. That really pissed off Ren. "[...] or trying to ruin your reputation with people." -- Yeah, he and his girlfriend were both doing that.
Kujos girlfriend even said she was going to flt to London and kneecap him. Then put lol at the end. As if to say that makes it alright. She also accused him of lying and kujo said he was a coward. Okay to sum it up Kujo put out a beat with copyrighted material from a Choir in it and the Choir went after him for royalties. Kujo then could not afford to pay the Choir so he came up with some half baked idea to go after Ren for the money since Ren bought a licensing agreement for the beat for his famous Sick Boi song . Kujo stated Ren never paid him and told him he wanted half the master revenue of Sick Boi. Kujo even went so far as to copyright takedown Ren's sick boi video off RU-vid. Kujo girlfriend then proceeded to trash talk Ren all over social media and make false accusations .The reality though is the production company never paid Kujo what he was owed for the licensing fees but the bigger issue is that Kujo sold an illegal beat to the production company and eventually to Ren. This is why he came out with the dis video.

Kujo is over. That’s all that’s relevant. He destroyed his own career. Ren was so tolerant and kind to Kujo. An artist would have to be insane to work with Kujo after what he put Ren through. 😉❤️✌️
