Ren never ceases to amaze me! He's not a battle rapper but had plenty of funny/clever punchlines that he buried Dotta with. He read Dottas eulogy. Then in turn resurrected him to give him another chance/outlook on life, in a sense baptizing him to be born again. I liked Rens sly way of referencing his own songs as usual. But he did something unusual. He used a "diss" track something that usually has a negative connotation and flipped it on it's head to spread wisdom and positivity. Proving that he is what he speaks about even during this tumultuous situation. Dissing human's decision to spread hate, look in the mirror don't become a casualty of vanity. Many were probably upset with Dotta. However it's thanks to Dotta that we were able to see this new side of Ren and receive his speech at the end. Many thanks to Ren, Knox, and Dotta for participating in the spirit of competition. No matter who you think won. We are the real winners. We leave with better understanding and outlook. This world will consume you if you stand idly by and let it chew you up. YOU choose which lenses to view things through, that's just human decision.

He does things his own way, and invites others to join him. It's special. I've loved seeing even hardened battle rap fans respect that flip because it's so authentic to Ren. He proved he can rap and that he can battle, and that he understands the culture, but he stayed true to himself.

"parasite vernacular" is also a double referring to Ren's own experience with ticks and Lyme disease, and how that informs his own rhymes. Ticks are blood-sucking parasites. "speak ill" at the beginning is also a double imo.
Dotta's latest track release is actually very heartfelt and uplifting, called "Thank You!", worth checking out and reviewing when finishing these diss tracks (Knox Hill response).

I was going to comment this! I voted for him and Lonerager. Yes, I love a few of the "bigger" creators but I absolutely love their personalities and his attention to detail is unlike anything that I've ever seen. Plus, his knowledge of the history of rap blows me away every time.

Hey! Nice commentary! After responding to Knox in his last track, King Dotta just put out a track called, “Thank You.” Yesterday, he also posted a message showing gratitude for the RENegade love and celebrating 3K subscribers (approximately tripled thanks to Ren). I subbed and listened to some of his tracks. I’m not a big rap fan in general, but a few of them were really appealing, especially those with him rapping over jazzy/blues type tracks and one where he pays tribute to a friend. But, I can’t get behind some of the cliche homophobic and misogynistic raps (e.g. see his tik tok posts). Much of it seems like dark humor, but in the current climate of hate and fear-mongering toward the LGBTQ+ community and women’s autonomy over their own bodies literally being stripped away across the states, that shit gets under my skin quick… King Dotta is clearly talented and now that he has a larger audience, I hope he will follow the model of people like Ren, Mackelmore (e.g. Same Love 🏳️🌈) and hip hop’s Queen (Latifa, that is! 😉). to use his platform to spread U.N.I.T.Y!!

I am not a rap fan, so I know nothing about rap and rap battles. But my first thought when I watched Rens video was that he did rap a capella, which must be way harder than do it with a beat, because he wanted to show what he is capable of. Still loving your reactions ❤

I hope @RenMakesMusic sees your channel. I've not come across another non-English reactor who catches everything he says. The amount of reactors I've seen miss his best lines.... 'Some people know me as hope, Some people know me as the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope' My favourite reactor, by a long shot.
I wasn't expecting the end but not surprised. And he knew a lot of us would listen to him, and he was right - Dotta had just under 900 subs when this dropped and now he's at 3.5k. Dotta definitely not coming back at this, he said he thought it was really funny and has a lot of respect for Ren now Dotta did say he was going to respond to Knox still (and he has now) but after that he is done with diss tracks unless someone comes at him first. He's really blown away by love he's getting from Ren fans, and I noticed his community posts been really positive. Must be the Ren-effect lol. I dig the slow rap flow, but I guess that's not as popular right now. Hes put out a couple videos thr last few days and getting much better views. I hope he just keeps going up from here.
Ren changed the rules and put Dotta in an unwinnable position... had Dotta doubled down he would have looked like an ass, instead he did the only thing possible and declared respect and defeat.
MichelleShow hates Ren, the only two reactions he ever did, he listened to a couple of seconds and called him trash. Michelle started all this diss stuff with Dotta, and he uses Pokémon with dreads himself to describe people in his reactions
