Ren - Money Game Part 2 (REACTION!!) 

I went from knowing nothing about him when Hi Ren dropped to him being in my all time top 5 artists almost instantly. He's just that fucking good.

It's scary how relatable and relevant the message really gets, talk about complexity 🤔

Part 1 is more like a piece of performance art. This one is more suited to going on a regular music playlist. I love both but they are very different. Thanks for both reactions! No matter if humming, yodeling, or banging a bat, Ren knows how to get the attention of his listeners.

Ren is a clever guy. Who else can take a complex and serious subject like this and explain it so perfectly with a well known tongue twister and crazy flows? Not to mention I find the topic super boring and I will listen to Ren rap about it over and over 😂 Anyway now that you’re starting to get deeper down the Ren rabbit hole, there are two different and equally important routes to take: emotional singing and fire rapping. For the first one I recommend Crutch feat. Bibi and Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla. For the rapping, The Hunger is a must. After that, Genesis is great for a serious rap song, Losing It gives you humorous beast mode, and What You Want is a feel good tribute to some old school Beastie Boys. Really though his entire catalogue is worth checking out. And that includes stuff from his band The Big Push. 🕳️ 🐇

Love your reactions! The “she sells seashells” is also a common nursery rhyme/tongue twister thing that little kids learn in primary school in UK. It’s “she sells sea shells on the sea shore, the shells she sells are seashells I’m sure” so ye I think maybe 2 meanings in Hi Ren for that maybe, the money game reference one like you said but then also it could be the nasty side in Hi Ren taking the p* out of Ren’s music and taunting him saying it’s so basic that it’s like a common little kids nursery rhyme.

Pretty sure covid messed up all video production plans. But his animated videos and lyric videos are still really neat.

Hey Kurtis, I'm new here. Went back through most of your Korn videos. Loving the reactions. I'd love to see you do more Tool and any of the popular Lacuna Coil songs like Swamped, Trip the Darkness, or Spellbound. And something I never see any hard rock/metal reactions of is Fear Factory. Their concept album Obsolete is a masterpiece of heavy metal but especially the song Shock is just such a hit. Thanks for the content man, I'm loving it.

Ren reflects how people feel in today's world. The pyramid of power has been turned upside down by the digital age and people power is growing. Now we have the information. Every time Money Game Part II is shared, it makes us even more aware. x
