Please keep in mind I recorded the Money Game trilogy before the launch of the channel and before I knew I didn't have to obscure Ren's videos. Reactions are cool. I thought privileged folk wouldn’t be that mad, but then you think Delorean, North and McAfee / probably others. His solution isn’t adequate, but it’s a track - Marx and Rand, wrote loads more and it was rubbish.

The thing I love about Ren when he does the series tracks (Money Game 1-3 and Love Music 1-4 for example) is not only the word play which is always genius, but you can also hear how much he's progressed as time goes by
You have really earned some happy Ren songs. You've done a bunch of heavy stuff lately. I recommend "Back on '74/Message in a Bottle" mashup. It's so much fun and shows a different side of Ren.

This was my 1st premiere on RU-vid I watched of anyone! He blew my mind! His presentation is incredible! What he did with all the riddles before and everything! Incredible job! And Ren playing piano is my absolute favorite! He does a piano instrumental called Mackay for his friend that is so beautiful!

Ren's a primarily self taught multi instrumentalist by now, and while he certainly can play the piano/keyboard he's just not a _trained_ pianist (as one can tell by his techniques and how he's holding his hands and fingers). The guy who takes over (Charly) however is pianist. Ren said in an interview (I believe in the Behind the Scenes for this video) that his practiced the intro ad nauseam to master these arpeggios. Being blindfold doesn't make things easier. He's doing a similar playful thing in the track "Mackey", another piano piece. Not necessarily complicated (he's not a pianist after all) but with beautiful chord progressions and more of these well placed arpeggios.
@@georgedowd4689basically. He turned 34 in March (2024). Started producing his own drum-and-bass tracks he created with Reason when he was about 12/13 and has been making music basically exclusively ever since. He was still a teen when he started "Trick the Fox" in Bath and then just kept learning instruments as needed I presume 🙂 A very talented but also very hard working chap.
@@CirTap he walked to school playing guitar his breaks was spent playing guitar or piano in the music room his mum and dad were musical his mum was a vocal coach dad played guitar

See the surgeon on the 20th... probably going to have to have another spinal fusion surgery. But my neck pain is why I might be squirming around in some of these videos. 😅
@@TheRealMommaOG Yep, that's the one.- No knifes if not absolutely neccessary, you know that flushes good money their way.A surgeon once told me if I wouldn't have this knee operation I wouldn't be able to walk within 10 yrs. That was 1985!
@TheRealMommaOG Poor Ren has certainly been through a lot and deserves all the support he gets that's for sure! Some of it is hard to watch, but definitely well worth it! He also did this article once called " heart is where the home is" such a lovely read!
