The beginning of this is spoken by Ren's friend Kit and it is from the Bible Timothy 6 6-10 . His sister (Leah) lives off the grid she is all about nature and living off the land he is very proud of her and you can tell he loves her very much this was supposed to come out for her birthday but stuff happens and it was delayed most importantly he got it out. This beat is very good as well and came from a producer that reached out during the Kujo situation cause he also had a similar problem with Kujo they got to talking and Ren asked if he wanted to do a song together they are splitting it 50 /50 as kind of a F/U to Kujo at the same time. Everytime Ren drops a new song you just know its going to be good he never misses.
Super cool that you know all thi info about Leah. I’m definitely not trying to hit her up or be some creeper, but she sound like EXACTLY the type of person I want to become friend with and learn from
"We've been priced out of primitive living." Holy shit, Dave. Ren's not the only one dropping gems today. You said it all with that sentence. Trying to find the words to explain the predicament that we find ourselves in and that is it. Somehow, we can't afford to live simply anymore. That's baffling. We've let them usher us into slavery for the pursuit of "progress" and "modern living"... and it allowed them to steal the simple life for themselves on the backs of our labor. I don't have land or a little house with a garden...but I bet my husband's corporate boss does. Waking up to reality in the depths of late stage capitalism is like being deprogrammed after leaving a cult. I feel like so much has been stolen from me. So much time and effort wasted on nonsense. I'm almost 50 and my health isn't great. It's a hell of a time to realize that I was failing because I was pursuing the wrong things. You are young. Find a way back to the basics. Make enough money to buy that little acre of land and build your simple life and then get away from the rat race while you can still enjoy it. Don't chase fortune and fame. Make your bag real quick and run at the first chance you get. ❤️💐
when 'natural' food is more expensive than chemically loaded food then those who suffer the health implications of that most are the poor... ive started to try and grow some things in my little garden for the last few months, i have peppers, green onions (think they called spring onions in uk) and obviously then regular onions once they grow, and garlic as well. i also tried to plant some tomato seeds a month ago even though its too late in the year really but they are growing so when spring comes i will do that again and get some potatoes going as well. Im actually finding it quite rewarding and satisfying to see them all grow i can now see why my mum loved gardening so much!
@@MalcolmMXTaylor ~ I grew up on a small chicken farm in very rural Pennsylvania. We had a vegetable garden and chickens and ducks. Way out in the boonies. The nearest neighbor was a mile down the road. I loved it as a child, hated it as a teenager, and ran off to the cities as soon as they kicked me out at 18. I'm 48 now. Grandfather passed away and the property, house, everything was sold, as I understand it. I always thought that I would go back someday but someday never came. Family couldn't afford to keep it, I guess. I couldn't have kept it up myself but, I wasn't informed until it was already done. I didn't have any plans to go back soon and now, it's someone else's someday. There's nothing to go back to. I think that's why my first comment was so overly dramatic. I think I am just a little bit wrapped up in my feelings about what could have been and maybe even regretting some choices. Now, I am stuck in the desert for good. I'm happy to hear about your garden, though! I think that's wonderful. I wish we all had a little space to grow just enough to help everyone get by. When I was growing up, we would trade with other farmers. We had lots of eggs. Dairy farmers had milk. We used to get the raw milk and skim the cream off to make butter and whipped cream from scratch. Sometimes, during hunting seasons, we could trade with someone for meat and be set for the whole winter. I didn't know how amazing that life was when I had it. Now I'm on the other side of the country in a city with half a million people and I haven't seen grass in ages. Keep striving to hold onto the simple things. ❤️
Thankyou guys for this enjoyable & thoughtful reaction to this song 🇦🇺🫂's to you both ❤️ Ren's lil sis Leah lives a pretty simple life off grid & is very knowledgeable in herbal uses ,she is awesome ...She has a wicked sense of humour & swears like a trooper just like her brother 🥰🥰 Love them both & both are intelligent, caring human beings ..... Love this song & the important messages Ren shares in it to us & his lil sis ❤️ ❤
"Money make a 'Sick Boi' sicker somehow"; I think it has a couple meanings. The issue with his song 'Sick Boi' and Kujo likely stressed Ren so much that it made him become sick again; also, that situation made the song blow up even more, (Sicker). One other thing, 'money and greed' presented a topic to several of Ren's songs, which contributed to Ren being able to be 'Sicker' with his 'Spittin'. That's my take.
I would love to hear more about your time in Zimbabwe. Did you grow up there are just live there for a time? You spoke a little upon how it got bad towards the end in this video, but I am a huge fan of traveling the world and exploring other cultures; how has time spent else for affected you and your now daily life?
That’s amazing! It’s such a beautiful place I highly recommend you visit ❤️ Kariba and Victoria falls are the places to see. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe we left when I was 16 because life was getting very hard. But I only have happy memories truthfully. I do have some trauma but who doesn’t hey? For me I am just so grateful I’ve been able to experience two such different lives.
He wanted to get this out for his sisters birthday last month but he collapsed and went blind for a couple of days pushing too hard :( This song makes me cry every time at the sister part. So many feels. The producer of this one was also ripped off by KujoBeats. They considered doing Beat Down together but Ren wanted to do that one himself so they're 50/50 on this one.
Sunglasses, just a thought. I find it interesting that so many people that have acquired wealth that have crossed the line between need and want choose to move to a simpler life. Once your needs are met, if you live only for want, you lose something, maybe the survival hunt/gather drive so you have to find ways to recreate it. It would make a fascinating study.
Im not referring to sexuality. Im not sure if you guys are british or what, but in the u.s. gay = not good. Im sure people love this guy, its not my style of music. Its actually painful to listen to. Im sure shane would feel the same way and call it gay. That is the joke, to call something gay that you dont care for. Its an exercise in poisoning the well, for a laugh. Get it...
Gay doesnt mean homosexual. Are you all british or something. If you are that explains why you dont get it. Im not about to try and explain humor to brits.
Rolf nothing wrong with beanbags nothing wrong with that unless you’re too big and then you squashed the bin bag and you got clean out for the next 2 1/2 years dammit U2 have just destroyed another channel that is post to be absolutely music free well done thank you. I’ve now come up with another name oh crap.
