Ren is real. Went through it all. Turned his pain inti support for others. Fulfilling the promuse he made to the community of chronic illness years ago. An ethical genius.

Phil's wife Susan here. I think of myself as an activist for the ME/CFS community. Many of us share our stories online not to say "Hey world I am a victim" but in order to shine a light on the suffering so that much needed change can happen. We have an invisible disability so unless we share what is actually happening in our bodies and behind closed doors no one realises including our medical professionals and the government systems that don't work for our situations. Energy impairment can be hard to understand, it can appear to others as if we are just being lazy when we are trying our hardest not to deteriorate further.
