I think Ren said something like he just wanted to make a disgustingly catchy "pop" song that was filled with innuendo's and play on words. So it's got this super mainstream beat, but he's going on about hooking up. His humour definitely shining through there.

I thought that was so typical that they chose the most upbeat and lighthearted song they could find on the album 🙄 Literally any other song would have been a more accurate representation of what else is on the album.

I yelled out WHAT IN THE ED SHEERAN IS GOING ON?! But i wasn't mad at this at all either! I LOVE how he's just displaying his full range in talent, like... sure why not tackle this genre too and show how brilliantly you can chameleon around and just be epic at everything you touch.

I think it's the pairing of this super sweet bubble gum beat. If he's going on about MFers, we aren't shocked when he tells us to take care of business while we're down there. 😂 But the sweet, romantic vibe and the way he keeps switching it back like, No of course I didn't mean that.... This song is hilarious but it describes how me and my fiancé met…. Just two guys enjoying the night and “uninvited “ in our lives….. well what started at what was supposed to be a one night stand how now become a three year relationship….. funny thing is we have been looking for our first song and somehow we both brought this song to each other not knowing we both found the perfect song….. and those invited to our day will get a kick out of the lyrics if they listen….

Thanks for your reaction. I thought this is a radio hit if they'll play it. Then, when Ren found out the album was no.1. he heard it on the radio and they were playing "Uninvited" in the background.

I had the pleasure of hearing this song for the first time during a Knox live that Ren was on. Before Ren dropped off of the split screen, Knox asked him which songs he should react to and Ren suggested this one. 😂 So as soon as Ren left, Knox livestream reacted...I was just as surprised as you were, tho. It's definitely not what I expected, but it was hilarious.

Ren's way of running game...LOLZ Comes across, Ah , Phrasing.. First time I heard this song I laughed because it so sounded like he was running game on all the women that listen to this. Loved the musical style he used, very 50's, 60's wear your smoking jacket kind of vibe. Then again I see things differently than most and congrats and Happy Birthday. I found out so hilarious this was the song the radio station chose to accompany announcing Ren achieving UK #1. And the inside joke of this being his "filthiest" track but most likely to get airplay
