She was a wonderful singer, but she was a great woman. She was humble and at the same respect very happy to be part of this world to share her voice and the love of Tajik music. I know this because she was my GRANDMA.

your grandmother is and will always be an inspiration to us all, especially to me and my own grandmother who fell in love with her music as a child and now I have the pleasure to share her wonderful music with the world. Unfortunately, I never knew her nor did she know me and I found out about her long after her passing, but I feel her music and spirit will always be with us no matter what. I humbly always pay a visit to her resting place each time I'm in NYC. That's me in the picture at the end
