Basic structure and function of the urinary system. Often people gloss over the 'simple' stuff, and miss areas of important understanding. The main things are the plain things, and often, the plain things are the main things. Please draw your own diagram, rather that taking the short cut of freeze faming and screen capture. Great Video! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Trentvorty Perfection Kidney Theorem (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is an awesome one off product for improving kidney function minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my best friend Jordan after many years got amazing results with it.

This is university level spoon feeding is something most universities do not do. Hopefully you would have read something about the subject before watchinf and labelling would not be an issue. Just saying.

My creatinine levels are different every time, sometimes 1.30, 1.40, 1.54, sometimes 1.24, and blood urea is 19.3 I do not understand blood urea is normal, is there any problem in the kidney?

Best call that the "urinary" bladder and not just "bladder"... Teachers these days in college will mark you wrong if you call it bladder, due to the fact that there are two bladders in the body (gallbladder included) and "bladder" doesn't distinguish one from the other.

It is my understanding that our vaccines are formulated each year based on what flu China is experiencing. Do all of our flu viruses begin in China? Why? Isn’t there a solution that would prevent this happening yearly?

Recently I had a CT Scan because of a lifetime problem I have had with my oesophagus. During the scan it was discovered that in-fact I only have one kidney, it’s apparently been this way from birth. Should I be worried about this?.

I’m only 38 and I’m still happy with my pee stream. However I have definitely noticed I can’t rush a pee out in a hurry like I used to when I was a busy young man 😂😂😂😂😂😂 P.S. love your work, doctor!!! ❤

Right kidney is lightly lower than left kidney bc of space occupied by liver Kidneys connected to ureters, which travel down the abdominal cavity (posteriorly). Renal medulla arranged in what is known as renal pyramids. Renal cortex projects down between renal pyramids. These spaces are known as renal cortical columns. When urine forms it comes down the papillary ducts and passes into calyxes. Minor calyx ---> major calyx ----> renal pelvis---> ureters----> urinary bladder Urinary bladder: site of storage of urine.
