Renard and all his aliases were a MAssive part of my childhood. I remember I first got into him when my friend Eric took me after school to the computer lab in 5th grade to watch this video of that Russian "Trololol" guy remixed into the 'Rainbow Tylenol' song from Kitsune2. Years after, I eventually had lapfox shirts, and knew pretty much every album of every alias. All this despite not being the least bit of a furry, but not hating the group either. Now I'm into more serious breakcore, like Vsnares, enduser, etc, but it's so refreshing looking back on the musician that I used to listen to practically everyday.
That's awesome dude, crazy to see I'm not the only one. Although I did grow interest for anthropomorphic animals, Renard was one of the first few "breakcore" or so artists I was introduced to, and one of which really shaped my musical taste and my own music from a young age, cheers!
REDD ANISE THE FOXX I discovered Ren and their music shortly before the bad drama between them and their girlfriend at the time, like a year or less. I don't remember, but their music really helped me out that whole year, because I was going through alot.
I think it was 2013 for me. I remember looking up Sinistar and finding FIAB's I Am Sinistar, looking around for more by the same artist, finding out that that was just *one* of the dude's aliases, and the rest is history.
