I enjoyed your video, I purchased the same model ten weeks ago and I’m amazed at the miles too the litre that the car is doing. Over the years I have purchased about eight cars and never achieved anything like that sort of miles from any of them, brilliant motor. 👍🚗
I watched your review among many others 3 years ago before I bought the 1.6 DCi 4x4 manual and I get between 5.8 - 6.0 l/100km with mixed driving on average. The car's ECO mode driving system has actually taught me to drive even more economically without trying too hard. Only 5 things bother me. 1. The Tom-Tom GPS system does not allow you to activate the traffic function in SA. GPS without traffic reports is useless to me. 2. Renault have the softest rims I've ever experienced on a car. Despite the 19 inch rims enhancing the look of the car they bend for nothing, definitely not ideal on our roads. You can avoid 99 % of potholes, but eventually you're going to hit a few. Go for the 17 inch wheels with larger profile tires. Each time I have my tires balanced and rotated I need to have at least 1 rim straightened. The costs add up every quickly for the sake of vanity and better road holding. Not sure it's worth it. 3. I'd rather have the sub in the boot with a space saver spare, and have the extra 120 litres of boot space with the separator that you can place in different configurations like with the EU models. 4. No Android Auto or Apple car play capabilities on the infotainment system. Why the hell not on a 2017 model car? 5. The Kadjar should've come standard with the reverse camera across the range. To have that screen and not have the reverse camera is just ridiculous! Other than these few things it has been a fantastic car during the last trouble-free 50 000 kilometres.
Hi Sigurd, thanks for your comment. Totally agree with you on many of your points raised. I only experienced the vehicle for a one week period, so I didn't have the chance to encounter all the issues which you have raised, but on the whole, I think the Kadjar builds a solid case for itself and is a solid choice. Best regards Jason
@@TechnoBokUnboxings hi Jason, yes I fully understand the dilema of motoring journalists spending a very short time with new cars. It would be unreasonable to expect anything else. The important thing is your experience was favourable overall, along with many other reviewers that I watched, and this helps us the consumer make a definitive choice. So thanks for that. Keep up the good work 👌🏻👌🏻
@@R1Zig Thanks so much for your kind words and for taking the time to respond to the video. It's because of interaction like yours that I am always motivated to keep putting together content. Have a super weekend ahead, Best regards Jason
