This car is a hit in many African countries as their first affordable new car ( South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania etc) as most of the Africans usually buy used imported vehicles from Japan.. Here in Tanzania the Kwid as outsold Alto K10 and Suzuki S presso... As evidenced by the sight of Renault Kwid everywhere you go on the road
Faisal bhai, here's a little constructive criticism coming your way. Please review updated models. This Kwid in particular, has been succeeded by the all new Renault Kwid MY22. Some changes are: Electronically Adjustability ORVMs, rear centre armrest has been removed, esthetic changes and the engine seems calmer now (lower NVH levels compared to this model but nevertheless, you can still hear the engine roaring on higher RPMs. Although for some reason, I love a good grunt.) And on another note, this particular Kwid seems to have a missing parcel tray and a defective glove compartment; meaning it shouldn't lock the way it does in the video. Parcel trays on the other hand are offered on all Climber variants. The owner of the one you're driving probably must've put it away, damaged it, lost it or maybe never got it during delivery. Small details that need correction to avoid misinformation since you're one of the leading automobile youtubers in India. Still though, love your videos! Keep going!!! 👍
I have test driven all three. If you love driving, the power delivery, engine refinement & handling in alto is far far better. Seating position is better in spresso with a compromise on body roll. I feel the exposed metal parts, rattling glove box and overall fit & finish makes even a 2 days old kwid very cheap. I wish they improve the fit finish & quality
kwid is a fantastic car for a middle class family who have a tight budget...we owned a kwid2018 for 5years n clocked 1lakh kilometres...it is a fantastic car till now....amt quite lacks sometimes..but its acceptable at the price...but the look n features is fabulous in its segment
This is the older version...the new 2022 model gets internally foldable orvm's...and also the orange elements plus rear armrest have been removed in the climber edition.
If you're deciding to take it, go for it! It's a beautiful car for a first. I own a kwid 800cc manual 1st gen from 2017. Beautiful for city and the highway. It returns about 20.91km/l as far as mileage goes.
@@dheeraj_rajan it is without AC. Recently I had a trip of 500km and I got mileage of 23kmpl. I have 800cc kwid. Also I drive with light foot so that's why I am getting good mileage. When my brother drives my car he gets around 16-17kmpl mileage.
I have this car currently it’s good but so much cost cutting and bad servicing now we have booked the Innova Hycross vx o so now I spend time with the car before it’s gone
@Jith umar Oseph ijay Ikram Urya Anush Amal Ajni What makes you think tin cans don't hurt. Please share a video with you getting hit on the face with a tin can.
I took this car to the hill station, oh my its not getting uphill that easily it become so tough to handle in the hairbend curves, beginners do not take this car to hill stations...
you are here to take out the faults only......but in this price, its almost perfect....so very ridiculer review... so do some other work or study..... this kind of things is not going to be worked for you....
The turn knob below the steering u mentioned u don't know why it exists.. it's actually a manual headlight adjuster which used to be in old cars... So yea cutting costs i suppose 😅
The power delivery of the car is way too satisfactory for an 800 cc engine. You may not feel it first, but once you get used to the car's clutch and acceleration, it provides adequate power. I drove the base model Kwid from Bangalore to Goa (Hilly Terrain) and covered 1600 kms up and down without any issue. I was even able to accelerate up to 138 kmph on my way back without a problem and much of vibration...
Dear Faisal Do you hate Jeep compass trailhawk why don't you review that masterpiece. In 2019 also you didn't receive it. I request you to plz review it ASAP.
Honestly affordable or not somehow the alto and the kwid look cheap and tiny. The dashboard, the instrument cluster look so gimmicky like a 100rs handheld game 🥲 the buttons tad too flimsy
I also have Renault kwid RXT 2017 top model,it's mileage and everything is very good 🔥 but except it's build quality,is so bad😖, purposefully I want to mention it's OIL CHEMBER is of (fiber or plastic) 😖,it's not reliable,it get dameged easily 😭 and breaking is not also good👎,I hope with new generation company may dissolved this issue.. Please mention it before buying kwid 😅 otherwise you may also suffer with it 👍
Kwid is a cheap Clio. They could have done better for Indian market and upgraded the built quality because of bad roads it simply isnt enough to raise height. A good built quality goes a long way to ensure the ownership of the vehicle doesnt cheapen out after some years with creaking and rattling noises.
What you are comparing with? Please be clear on that.. I know you have so much experience with many cars. But when you review something, please make you are comparing with its competitors
@Faisal khan bhai i have the car just bought last year, just 1 month after the purchase this crap started having problem with engeen. Sahi wala review dena he to meri car ka review do bhai. Chahe to pesa lelo
