Just coming back after a test drive of the car. It has a horrible acceleration in 2nd gear and upwards with three people in the car and that too with peak torque available at 3000 rpm. Turbo Charging the 1 liter engine is the only option to bring about some sort of pick up. It would be disastrous trying to overtake another vehicle on an undivided road with rated payload. I wonder why they did not put in a 1.2 liter engine (HR12DE)when they already have it with them since Renault and Nissan are sister concerns. The present dual VVT engine of the Triber is perfect for the Renault KWID. In this wet and cold climate I cannot make any judgments about functioning of the air conditioner.
keeping safety in mind . 1.Appreciate your thought on the pickup and the hazardous point noted while overtaking with the payload. Instead; as pointed out, for such a long car with 7 seat load capacity they could have had 1.2 duel VVT engine. 2. I am even skeptic about the safety of frame/structure in case of collusion. 3. Back wiper and defogger should be made mandatory for all variant as a safety norm. 4. Renault initiative to introduce 7 seater in compact hatch back is something interesting and could have been a game changer for the price bracket at this point in time; attracting many potential customer for this festive season. However keeping in mind the transition phase from BS IV to BSVI Compliance; they should have given BS VI compliant engine; this still being BS IV engine is something which a potential investor will think about; keeping in mind the price bracket especially for the top spec ; That means the prices for BS VI will be premium in short notice later next April 2020. And that too compromising still further on power delivery (compression ratios) and fuel efficiency. 5. No Steering wheel control and height adjustable seat even for the top spec is something disappointing. 6. No provision for dead paddle. All in all it is a good move from Renault and it is a “Food for thought” in competition
One of the best utility vehicle with all needed features and awesome design with an very small budget ,,, I think Renault have understand the mindset of our country and the financial level of middle class family of our country ,,,, according to me it's a very good deal in the segment best car 😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍
RXT model is a best available option for a 4 members family, afterall one cannot have a comfort of 12-13 lakhs SUV in a 7-8 lakhs budget ! I,ve purchased this varient yesterday in 7.46 lakhs on road !

I live in Jammu- the hilly terain. I took a test drive with onboard 7 people. Kahi se bhi feel nhi hua ki mn normal 1 litre engine drive kar raha hn. No power lag issue. Please go and take test drive, u will believe it. Every penny justified.
Good value for money variant . Only missing items of semi significance I see are : rear camera rear wiper start stop . Need to see the price difference between RXT and RXZ and how much extra one will dish out . I guess all will be known on the 28th . Personally want the AMT . I suppose the AMT will cost anythere between 75k to 1 lakh over the manual. So will compare the RXT AMT RXT manual and RXZ manual and RXZ AMT . Will decide on the 28th. Because I have never bought a Renault before . I want to ensure the aftersales is spot on
Sir 7 seater main 999cc ka engine itna power and performance day payega, renault nay 20kmpl ki avergae. Diya hai par agar complete gadi full or roof para agar around 150kg ka breifcase ka load ho toh hilly area main ya plain area itna power hoga engine, kindly information provide karein.

So this is a request totally out of the box. I have requested a lot of channels and auto shows but none could help. I use a wheelchair as I am a quadriplegic (spinal cord injury) and I am paralyzed. I used a TATA WINGER for about 8 years which I recently sold. I am looking for a car, MPV or a 7 seater in India which could be useful for people with disabilities. Ideally, I would love for my wheelchair to fit in my car whilst I am sitting on it. However, if not that, could u suggest which car I should buy where shifting in and out of the car is easy(Remember, I can't even stand), low entry & exit, wide doors, good head space, boot space and a 7 seater. Toyota hiace would fit in but it's too expensive and isn't available in India yet. I'd be grateful if u could help.

Renault is not yet allowing for long test drives. So it's hard for any reviewer to talk about engine power. I am also waiting for such a full review of Triber.
At least renault should provide a 4 cylinder engine..and tyres are seems very small size. we need big tyers and ground clearance for a 3 raw seat vehicle
7.35 lacs with 2 years insurance (first year front to end, second yr 3rd party insurance) and servicing, 7.6 lacs with 4 years insurance (first year front to end, next 3 years 3rd party insurance) and servicing. but it will be wise to ask local dealer whose value will 25000 higher than internet displayed price
What about electrically foldable cum adjustable ORVM, Steering mounted controls, Audi styled HID matrix LED headlights & LED Taillights, Powerwindow switch with Blue Backlight illumination lights at night, height adjustable seats and adjustable front seats headrest, Doors with puddle & ambience lights on handles, illuminated Scuff Plates ? Basically many basic features are missing even on the Top-End model of the Renault Triber which is already present in entry level hatchbacks which is a major drawback for this car which is just about to be launched ???😐???
Manufacturing defect in AC Blower, purchased on sep 2019 and now it got damaged, waiting for spare, very poor mileage what claimed by company against actual.
1 litre engine for a 7 seater, can't imagine how it's going to perform even in normal situations with AC on. Pricing is perfect, but the KWID's modified engine is a flop. Customers might buy this as a 5 seater and can avail the 600 L+ bootspace, first in any segment 😂...Should have a better refined 1.5 L engine

Very bad experience. I have looked into the work of many owners. Especially 1. The mileage of the car is low, not 19km / l at all. 2. The tire alignment is not right so the tires are damaged. Leaving the steering wheel pulls the car to the right / left. 3. The car's odo and digital meters do not work properly and are reset. 4. Service center is not available, good service is not available after purchase. 5. The engine of the car is not very powerful. However, in terms of price, it is quite right.
