I own Triber RXZ, how to manage the long Clutch travel and at times it becomes cumbersome to drive in 1st n 2nd gear in Delhi bumper bumper traffic. How to manage this please....any advise.
@@1977faraz Mr Faraz it’s a hydraulic clutch and cannot be adjusted unlike the older clutch technology. You should raise the same with service centre with this feedback so that the company can come up with a solution. Unfortunately there is not much that can be done.
@@Speedhounds much thanks for your super prompt reply and feedback / advice. Will do as suggested. Yes looking forward to many more un unbiased and genuine travelogue and reviews.
Excellent review about triber and beautiful location..... most noticing part is your driving with such an ease facing camera.... it looked as if u r sitting in a chair and the vehicle driving you... I have a 35 years experience... so u can imagine my review about ur driving
That was a lovely observation from your side. Never heard that from anyone. But that shows you did watch the video. I don’t want to be more comfortable or else I will definitely sleep. Joke apart. The Renault Triber has one of the best suspensions and the reason why I am so comfortable while driving it. Renault has always amazed with the way they tune the suspension.
It sure is under rated when you see the specs on paper. Drove it for more than a year. And I really loved it for the space and the value that it provides at this price.
I am from Tamil Nadu. I am planning for i10 Nios or Ignis . But suddenly thinking Triber in my choice coz of 7 seater also am new learner From your video I can understand for hills no issues coz we don’t have this type of hills here. As 5 seater usage , I don’t have any doubts and any questions But when are using as 7 seater , how is the performance in hills and city and long drive also Share milage details
Hi. Sadly I did not test it out with 7 people on board. I am sure it would have an impact to an extent on the pick-up. But I am sure if you are a sedate driver it won’t be an issue to manage. But if you have a heavy right foot it won’t be fun.
Go for Kiger CVT turbo. It gets better power to weight ratio, better transmission and more features than Triber. Go for Triber only if you need a 7 seater.
@@Speedhounds I read extensively in kiger reviews. Frankly many unhappy customers with same reasons like panel gaps, bumpy suspension (which even I found), plastic quality. I had actually shortlisted and almost finalized the cvt turbo in black. But now have second thoughts.
Very nice 👌👌 place, l had been there two years back, love triber but waiting for it turbocharged variant. How much you are hopeful for that please reply.
Best part of Triber is its suspension, if turbo engine arrived it will be stiffer side. I did 2 long trip (1100km X 2) on my Triber in single day just because of its comfort. I do not have much experience for car drive infect I start driving with Triber(my first car).
Can it pull 7 people in these terrains? I'm worried whether the engine will be stressed too much with 7 people and luggage in these high altitude terrains.
Dear Shabil. Thanks for writing to us. Well i was carrying a lot of luggage and and two passengers. From Shimla to Chitkul. It can easily carry 7 people, but, it is more for a sedate driver and not for people who would pull it all the way to the redline. You need to build speeds rather than push it to its limits. It can easily carry 7 people. Even though it is the same engine from Kwid, but it is tuned differently. It is refined and is eager to upshift. It easily goes uphill. But be gentle and build speeds gradually, you won’t face any problem.
It’s a very good car. Performs well in city and highway. It performs well of you are a sedate driver. - Good Fuel Efficiency - Very comfortable suspension - Spacious - Only thing there is humming noise from engine on 1st and second gear, but is not very irritating - Horn needs to be changed - Turbo charged 1.0 engine will launch soon - No crash test ratings available yet
The vehicle is registered in Tamilnadu. How was your driving experience all the way to North. It would be good to hear your experience as you might've travelled in highways, terrains and rough roads. I'm bit hesitant whether the engine struggles for power with 6/7 people on board in terrains and over 90 kmph in highways. Your response would be great for me to narrow down my list in buying one.
Hi Shabil. The car is a media unit from Renualt and they manufacture it in Tamil Nadu, reason why it is registered with a TN plate. We had multiple terrains to test it over. It is a good cruiser on the Highway, we took the KMP expressway which has a limit of 120kmph and we were easily doing 110-120 without any struggle. Just bill speeds gradually and it has no problem, yet it needs better insulation for sure. But the engine is nicely tuned. It wants to upshift earlier and that’s the reason why it gives good mileage. In the city, I am on the 5th gear on speeds as low as 40kmph. On the hilly terrain as well we faced almost no problems. Chitkul being at a height of 11,000 ft was easily done. Triber really requires a turbo Petrol engine, but the 1.0l engine can pull 7 persons, but don’t expect outright performance, it’s for sedate driving.
@@Speedhounds Thanks for your detailed response. If the car does the job in pulling 7 persons on board, it's fine. We can't expect out right performance in every cars though. 🙂🙂
Hi Prathamesh. If you are thinking of keeping this for a long time. Would suggest you go for the top variant, the updated Triber has ample of new features and the top variant is still value for money. In terms of colour choice, it now comes in dual tone options, the bronze and even the blue colour looks really nice on Triber.
Wonderful video on Triber's capability and of course beautiful scenic locations enjoyable to see. What was the Triber's variant you drove and was it Automatic or manual transmission? Also how many persons were on board the vehicle during the trip?
@@Speedhounds Thanks for your response. Just in case if you have driven Triber or some other car's AMT version do you think it will be comfortable and easier to drive AMT or manual on hilly roads?
@@vaibhavjain2791 So I took the Ignis AMT to Himachal last year and was pretty comfortable. Just don’t be too hard on it and you will love the drive. It is just getting used to it and your left leg won’t regret. Not that I faced any problems. AMTs are more smooth with 1.2 or bigger engines and quite sluggish on lower powered engines like 0.8 or 1.0. This is my experience.
Hello Sir I live in Delhi and I own Chevrolet beat diesel. The registration date is Mar- 2012 and it is registered in Delhi. I am the first owner of the car. My Car RC (recently made 5 days ago) shows the car validity till 2027. I am confused about till how much time I can drive the car in Delhi. Since in NCR you can't drive more than 10 yr old diesel vehicle . Buy a car salesman told me that since I am the first owner, I can drive the car for 15 yrs but the PUC guy told me that he will not be able to give me car PUC after 10 yrs of car age. Pls advice
Dear Gaurav. At present the 10 year rule is valid in Delhi. You can get the PUC done in Gurgaon/Noida as the 10 year rule is not valid in places other than Delhi. Also, there is a rumour that the 10 year rule is expected to be extended to 11 years in Delhi. But, can’t say till when it will be passed.
Dear Mr Gaurav. Unfortunately Triber has no Fog Lamps and no provision to install them. You can check for any aftermarket fog lamps which can fit in the area where the DRLs are present.
Dear Alok. It’s a very nice car and very spacious. You won’t have any problem. If driven well, it also gives good fuel efficiency. It’s a 👍 from our side. Please go ahead.
Yes. You can as all the variants are mechanically same. Follow our channel for more awesome automotive content and don’t forget to hit the bell icons to receive a notification.
Hi. The fuel efficiency remained around 17+ km to the litre in the hill section. On the highway in the plains we were averaging around 19 km/l. Most cars show higher than actual fuel efficiency on the MID. This one is an exception as it showed almost the actual on the MID.
@@kristrails07 Sure the service network is a little weak. But, that’s only in Tier 3 cities, but well established in Tier 1 and some Tier 2 cities. Also, the CVT plus Turbo is quite efficient and well tuned. It is the same combo as available in Magnite. And performs really well on hills and highways.
@@Speedhounds thank you for your feedback. Hope to connect with you soon. I may leave next week by road for hp. God bless. Let me know your Instagram if possible.
Hi Abhishek. After almost 3000 km. I would say, you should go ahead with it. It’s a very good and comfortable sub 4m 7 seater yet spacious one. If you are a sedate driver, it performs well, it has good fuel efficiency and for space it’s is wide and gets loads of leg space. If you are a fast driver, who likes to drive like it’s his last day, it’s not for you. But, if you are a careful sedate driver, you should definitely go ahead. Overall the fuel efficiency was impressive around 17+. Suspension is best in class. Barring some features, it gets all the necessary features. Drive it for yourself once, if you feel you want more power, wait for the 1.0 turbo petrol.
@@AbhishekSharma-us5ef AMT is not at all problematic on hills. We extensively drove Ignis AMT in October without any problems. You can find the video on the channel. Haven’t driven the Triber AMT on hills. But, you won’t face any problems. You need to get used to the gearbox as it ain’t a conversational automatic, so it just takes sometime getting used to it.
@@avinashkumar8346 Yes. It was tested two weeks back only. Two months back when I answered this it was not tested. And even the video was made in December last year.
@@Speedhounds you are saying that renault triber suspension so good but in other youtuber channel telling that triber suspension so bad on hilly areas and bodyroll too much high.
