I'm brazilian, but always love the folk/celtic music style. Sometime ago, I search folk/christian, holping to find something. So I have finded Rend Collective and totally fall in love! They have the style, they are funny, talented, and they write lyrics that really talk to my soul and make me praise to God. My dream is someday go and know Ireland. That would be awesome. (sorry, my english is not good.... lol )

While my favorite version of this song is that of Celtic Thunder, I like this RC version very much in a separate way. Instead of sounding like a battle cry bellowed from the depths of warrior's souls, in an epic fashion, this version sounds more like a theme at the heart of every Irishman. A cry that can be uttered by the layman, the soldier, and the politician. RC's version feels decidedly personal in its depth, while resonating with the wishes of the general population. A delicate balance to strike, and a masterpiece being the product.
