Why was it ahead of its time? Something is ahead of its time when it is not appreciated then but later. This show was most appreciated when it was telecast in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was a huge huge hit

Miss world used to be a third rate show funded by Arabs and Indians. Her answer was stupid and her demeanor was more of a chamakchalo than a poised and elegant lady. Miss Universe is something genuine and grand.

Nearly after 20 years ...I leave my comment here .... and I can say this women has stood the test of time with grace , poise, elegance, humility and respect .... the term beauty is a cliche in the case of my and everyone's Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Ash got 18 and vivek got 14 movies after that spat with Salman. Almost all movies tanked at the box office on over 5000 screens around the world. Salman couldn't make his own brother's careers. The fate of an actor is decided by the public in a dark theatre every Friday. People couldn't connect with Ash and Vivek's face and body language are not suitable for a romantic or action hero of Bollywood. He can only fit in gangster movies. These are hard hitting facts. Ash started dating Vivek cuz his movie Company ( the only one hot movie) was a hit and he signed 3 movies. She runs after success. When his 8 movies tanked at the box office she left him. Point to be noted is that she never stayed single for a day. She had vivek already when she broke up with Salman, She had Abhishek already when she broke up with Vivek.

Man...she is a stunner. And how. It's not like doing a comparison or anything. Beauty comes in countless forms. But Aishwarya has been bestowed (whether a boon or a bane is to be assessed as it may, from moment to moment) with some extraordinary looks even amongst those lined up as beautiful. It's outstanding. I like her grace. She tries very hard to stay well mannered and thoughtful. That shows how conscious and aware she is.
It's rare to find such grace and elegance in anyone with a subtle mix of rawness. I love this interview to bits and pieces. Thank you Simi ji for these soft-spoken, charming interviews. Sadly, nowadays no one does interviews like this.

I have similar features to her: the heart shaped face, the same hairline, the same sharp and small nose, the same big wide eyes ... but I never appreciated it all. People tell me I look like her now seeing as so many people wish they looked like her I guess I should appreciate what God gave me more.
She looks best when she dresses simply. She should embrace this 'natural' look. She was equally gorgeous in Jodha Akbar and that was an almost no make-up look.

Aishwarya is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women in the world. She is intelligent, dignified and level headed - and also extremely guarded and cautious with her answers. I think it’s a combination of these traits that people interpret as being fake or plastic. I don’t believe she is fake, this is just who she is. She is not comfortable sharing too much of her emotions and inner feelings with the entire world and that is okay.

I think you need to make aishwarya comfortable to make her speak or else she becomes really defensive. Sushmita on the other hand is always ready to speak her mind. There like students, you always are nicer to the weaker student
