The openning looks like Simiji and Shobhaji were recreating Ingmar Bergman's Persona :D "speak.. so I can see your soul" Simiji brings her guests to life and peers into their hearts and shows us that ultimately, beneath all the layers of makeup, we are all humans - impulsive, emotional, vulnerable, happy and yet yearning.

Ms.Garewal l understand that this generation may be slightly different from the previous ones you have interviewed, but kindly start a new series, and bring the class back in interviews.

Ms. Simi's english is like poetry to ears...Very classy interview I must say!There was so much dignity in conversation in those days...Unlike today where celebs leave no stone unturned to grab publicity!

I love how Simi immediately hit Shobhaa with the publics perception of her as “bitchy” then she gently peeled back the layers to expose who this woman really is, outside of the image. Brilliant interviewer

I don't know much about Shobha's journalism or content that she puts out, but I have to say that I am always so inspired by her attitude and how much she doesn't care what the world thinks of her. She's not a victim and she doesn't whine about the way people have reacted to who she is. What an inspiration for the world.

Even though I hate Shobhaa's ideology and useless writing, I must confess I have fallen in love with her beauty.

If wiki is right for her age, then she was almost 50 yrs old during this interview 😯 easily looks in 30's..

I admire Shobha de for her ruthless honesty, objective observation of peoples' follies,foibles and faults besides ofcourse her wit(ascerbic) and journalistic abilities.

In this lock down liesure I have been watching simis vdos, long back I saw, n now, Vv gorgeous Simi ji, Getting curious to know more about simiji. I know her only in karz, in which her character made me have negative about her, I was just a school going then. But after watching her interviews I matured and changed the opinion on her. Coming to Shobha de ji, I was always surprised about her looks n style at the first sight, then was awestuck of her capabilities, n now only have come to know about her personal life through this interview. Shobha De is very pretty and attractive, though she has not aged well. Sharp eyes, beautiful nose, high cheekbones and a sweet smile, she was quite glamorous in her young age... If only she was a little more polite and considerate in her articles, people would have actually liked her.

Interesting to see the woman behind the scribe. The image of a ruthless journalist/columnist is in complete contrast to the woman, who is conservative, soft-spoken, straightforward and traditional. Both Simi and Shobha look beautiful!

Love these style of interviews...feel like I'm listening in on a private conversation...sorry but I really didn't like the most desirable show at all, was disappointing that none of this nuanced, personal and intimate factor that made your old shows transferred to the new format... it seems like every other wannabe interview show...next time hope u keep ur loyal fans in mind with this humble request..bring back the old you!

thanks god the world went in the direction of Harry potter via J. K. Rowling. What a waste of precious time ...making up imaginary stuff about people's lives. In hindsight it is so much better to spend one's time reading up about imaginary goblins & wizards. Human strengths need to be stressed to leave the civilization a better place than we inherited rather than dissect/glorify human frailties. Glad that this breed of writers are outdated in today's times.
