every time i watch one of your videos im like "right im starting a new playthrough" and hate like the first 4 hours because early game is so tough, and seeing you fend off guys with a pair of binoculars has reminded me to just maybe not go back just yet lol

This is a great playthrough! I'm not an expert but I thought you only dissassemble guns with green barrels, otherwise just field strip and chuck away unless you really love metal scrap.
Renegades are located in Great Swamps in the canon. They are the first faction you go against in Clear Sky for the faction wars. Bandits can be found anywhere in the zone.

Lmao, yeah once you get set up with the Mercs in dead city it plays out almost like a Merc Playthrough just harder. Grab a loner/ecologist disguise even if its damaged it keeps stalkers from shooting at you on sight and gives you a chance to pick your fights.
42:00 lol what madman is telling you to be putting in every single part?! man i wouldnt even bother attempting to mess around with equipment till i got two tool kits one for my trader then one for my work bench... its nice that you can do it for when you find a part but my god you spend enough time as it is rummaging through inventory in this game as it is, id rather do a few extra missions an be less economic with my money instead of rummaging in the dirt for another 12 hours hoping to god you find a shiny piece lol and why do people get so excited when they see other people doing things differently to how they do it? youre either watching these playthroughs because A you dont have a PC or cant play the mod or B you play the mod and are watching someone else play it to see a different perspective or to glean some ideas from what their approach is no?
Fast travel eliminates time waste, spending most of the time running on same locations imo (critical when you plays more or less peaceful faction). And ledge grabbing is a must because it enables all the fun stuff - evading anomalies, shortcuts, ambushes and flanking, realistic too. You do you ofc.
