Renes Marionettes in Tales from the Crypt 

It was good but nothing beats Tales from the Darkside's intro for me. That used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid and listening to it even nowadays reminds me of the uneasy feeling it gave me then and how I forced myself to watch it anyway because it was too good. My favorite episodes of Tales from the crypt are this one and the Morton Downey Jr. episode (that one is my very favorite).

Yeah, it's like we're going to visit the Crypt Keeper in his lair. I wonder who lived in the mansion though.

@@wtcvidman Yea that's Television Terror from season 2. Tales from the Darkside is lame compared to TFTC.

@@Dougie-yk7rh I disagree. Tales From The Crypt was mostly funny/comedy in comparison while Tales From The Darkside was mostly weird & crazy scenarios. In terms of scary episodes, Tales From The Darkside's Answer Me (especially with the original music the episode used before the stupid one the DVD set changed it to) is scarier than anything I've ever seen in Tales From The Crypt. The part near the end (won't spoil in case people here didn't see it) was a little silly but everything else was an amazing buildup with an atmosphere of complete isolation with Jean Marsh being the only actor/actress in the episode and the uneasiness the viewer felt as the episode unfolded and she paid her visits to the next apartment was off the charts. It was a textbook way horror should be done. The episode with the Grither was also really good along with the Last Car episode and the one with the college girl who lived in the apartment with the monster in the closet. Then there were episodes that messed with your mind like Sorry Right Number.

Then you should read the comic that is theme of practically EVERY story, with some young lover on the side

daleva187goligo beyond belief: fact or fiction was another great show... It wasn't always scary, but it always had a twist... And some of the true stories were completely beyond belief. I loved that show... And all the ones u already mentioned.

The Goosebumps tv show sucked and was a huge letdown, and I was a huge fan of the books when I was a kid and read the first 30 books or so. Are You Afraid of the Dark was WAY better. But Tales From the Crypt and The X-Files were the two best horror/sci-fi series of the 90's.

Television Terror is the episode. And it's definitely one of my favorites!

Ryan Lanigan that's a shame :-( I don't understand why they would cut it out... They didn't cut out the tits in almost every other episode... Well for the most part from what I've watched out of this playlist so far.... Most of these episodes in this playlist have music playing over it which pissed me off. There's no reason for it other than to be a prick ass troll bytch. >.

RU-vid is cutting out a lot

Every season was on here by several people and now they’re all gone. I’m assuming that RU-vid took them down? I wish people would upload to the Daily Motion website. Tons of stuff there that doesn’t get enough attention, same thing with Viveo.

You know what. It seemed like something was cut out of this episode. It was probably that scene.

@@mnguy This video is definitely missing some scenes like the one where the puppet kills them. Zach Galligan should have played more villains, he was pretty good as one. I love it when actors who almost always play good guys play villains. Leslie Nielsen's character (Richard) in creepshow comes to mind. Imagine if Zach ended up getting killed by a mogwai marionette haha.
