With the higher compression of the RX8 rotors, what sort of power output would you expect on this build? Thanks for the balancing info!

With a basic T4 turbo. The last one did 430 at 14psi I believe. Give or take a little

Hello. Do you need to send the pulley that you are going to use with the assembly to get the best balacing or doesn't matter which pulley you decide to use after it gets balanced? Thank you and have a great day.

Yes I recommend getting the front hub or pulley you're going to use balanced with the rotating assembly as to not introduce a change. In some cases hubs or after market pulleys are a neutral balance as designed to not affect existing balances. I may have the OEM front hub balanced and may also have an aftermarket hub balanced with it as well just for the option as I'm not positive what my belt configuration will be.

Does that mean that the counterweight in the flywheel is the same as the counterweight out of a auto trans RX-8? Since there are different weights for the rotors, are there different counterweights?

Do you have any thoughts on porting for maximizing efficiency. When I look at EFI tuning videos it looks like Max fuel efficiency occurs between 6200 - 6600 rpm.

With alot of balancing trying to get the weights to within a gram or 2 ideally do you think a smaller front pulley/aftermarket aluminium pulley would affect the balancing a little bit?

why mark the rotors when rx8 rotors have F and R stamped in to them already?

Machine work can remove the markings from the factory.

@@KyleMohanRacing but you havent done any machine work where the F and R are stamped on rx8 rotors.its stamped on the faces, not the sides.

@@davidhusband5022 yea, its small so we recommend just using a sharpie so its easily visible to anyone working with the rotors. Also like I mentioned some machine work could remove the factory markings. Ive also seen rotors that where not clearly marked. In which case might be a good idea to re mark...

Looks good, ones I know of are standalone ECU and after market intake and they work fine.

@Kyle Mohan Racing well I will be starting my engine build for my RX2 later this year and want to keep it NA. The REN is a decent motor for that, but this hybrid setup is really interesting. Seems like there are more gains to be had boosted obviously, but there is little info on this combo in NA form.
