I've only had my certificate for about seven years, but I am adamant about the term. In official documentation and legal documentation, words mean things, so I try to resist the urge to call it a "license". But it's so easy to do, like calling an unmanned aerial system a "drone". Incorrect, but it flows so much better. :)

Thank you Greg! 👍🏼. I was hoping you’d also include some info on staying current as a drone pilot (I will lose currency by November 2024). I was wondering… have you updated the part 107 course?

@@PilotInstitute I'm not sure, but believe the link is to an old video. The link leads to a RU-vid video titled "How to renew your drone pilot license in 2023", but as soon as Greg starts the intro he clearly says "2021". I know I saw Greg speaking in a video with the new rules for 2024, but I can't find it.
