The 2009 Great Reno balloon races! This is a video with lots of both pictures and Film. The dawn patrol (the first part of the film) took place at 5:30 in the morning on Sept 13 2009 at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. At 6:45 AM the same day one or two balloons took off and landed somewhere. They placed a huge X on the ground. all of the other balloons tried to chase that balloon and drop a bean bag on the X that had been placed on the ground. Whoever got closest won. This part of the Race is called the mass ascension it had about 100 balloons The Music featured in this Video is Santorini live At the Acropolis by Yanni
