I don't think people realise how much of a genius you are. I've seen plenty of knife paintings in my life and never thought twice about them, as they were unappealing and lacked attention to detail. Your paintings come to life with the sheer attention to detail you pour into them. You are the type of artist that people will talk about for generations. Truly, keep painting without regard to what people have to say, please. Your talent and paintings need to be kept for generations to see and wonder over. Thank you for your contribution to humanity's weaving web of artistic endeavors.
I’m 25 and just go into painting for some random reason that I’ve yet to dwell into. Yet when I watch artist paint, I get so emotional and just in awe at the beauty. Never liked painting or drawing in my life, and now I’m in love.. thank you for the inspiration you share online. :)
That was the best I’ve thing I’ve read in comments for a long time. I remember going National Gallery in London, UK. I had some time to kill and it was free, so. But walking around I saw a painting of the ocean by William Turner, and it made me stop. And it made me catch my breath. I left the place with tears welling, and emotions overflowing. And still don’t know why. I spend a lot more time in galleries since. I enjoy paintings, and now also enjoy making paintings.
I am so happy to see these comments. I thought I was the only one who got emotional in seeing art, whether it be paintings, sculptures, movies or music. I marvel at the beauty we humans are capable of.
The further the artist gets into opening their vision into this world, I can almost hear the sounds- the rain, cars, tires on wet pavement and a horn or two, etc. And toward the end, I can smell and feel the cool, damp air. Amazing talent. The music fits perfectly.
Watching this painting unfold was like a journey for me! All of the ups and downs and watching the creativity unfold. The mastery of technique was impressive. The color choice is impeccable. A true masterpiece! It reminded me of a rainy day I spent in the city not so long ago.
In 1988 I moved to NY city from a small town in eastern Washington when I was 19 and stayed for about a year and a half. . I got a job in Brooklyn in a book bindery. I have many memories, all good, during that time! Now at 53 years old I'm watching this video of city life in the rain - an absolute beautiful painting! All the memories come rushing back during that time in my youthful life and I'm getting very emotional! Thanks for the trip down memory lane and I'll be looking for a painting like this to decorate my newly remodeled foyer! I hope to find one! Thanks again!
Being part of the creative process it’s such a privilege and such a wonderful thing; thank you. We are so used to admire and put out there and consume only final products, this is truly nice 💐
Absolutely amazing. You know it’s amazing when you watch the entire video. You watch the process of making this painting and still in wonder about how he did it. It’s perfect in how imperfect it is. I have no painting knowledge, so I can’t speak on what style this is. All I can say is I prefer this over a painting that is overly real. It has so much life and somehow it connects with me. Immediately I start feeling something deep and meaningful. I love it. Wow
WOW. That was freaking crazy amazing! I was on the edge of my seat trying to see what was coming next. I enjoyed watching the process as much as the final result. Awesome all together.
You’ve taken me to the 90’s 😂 I don’t know why but I feel I’ve been here 😮 you are outstanding and greatly talented.. I’m just blown away by your hands 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻💯🙌✍️👨🎨
That was so cool seeing it all come together. This is definitely one of those type of art pieces that leave a more lasting impression after having seen the process versus just seeing the finished result.
So happy I own this painting. Have it hanging in my living room. I walk by it multiple times a day going into the kitchen. So much to see it always brightens my day.
Simply sensational, I am speechless. For me as a hobbyist painter, watching a very expressive picture being created is almost pure magic and pure pleasure. Thank you. Kerstin, Berlin
I have watched you paint this Beautiful little street scene over and over since seeing it the first time. I Love the colours you use and the way you just invent the shapes so magically and fluidly. Absolutely Gorgeous - ' Look what a heart of colour can do." 😍💛🙏
I watch your videos when I'm down. Something about mixing paint on a canvas, randomly putting colors but always having it to end up in place, serving a role for the painting. So I guess it reflects our life. Some things might go wrong in some way but it's all part of the process. Keep it up
I love your paintings I always feel so emotional and want to cry. Especially your rainy scenes for some reason...makes me feel like I've been there or want to be there....creating life on a blank page is magical and beautiful and you are a master of your craft. Your videos have helped ease the pain of losing my mother, Thank You.
The way u just made this come to life made me question about an “ugly” drawing with so much potential that I started a long time ago and never finished, I can’t imagine what it looked like if I didn’t give up to focus on school work
Ive always wanted to impressionist landscapes. I think Monet would be very satisfied with this fantastic intimate look at a rainy modern scape. Well done
Bravo! Beautiful piece! This video took me to deep thought and watered my eyes. Life is so amazing! When we reflect on how fast time goes, often a moment like this reminds us about the serene romance delicately discovered in our surroundings. As an artist myself, I can appreciate the emotions captured onto a canvas or any other media, whether it’s photography, drawing, sketching, painting, digital, etc. Love it! 🌒🌧️☂️
I think this type of painting, for me, is one of the most impressive, since from my ignorant point of view it's just basically smudges that later turns into something.
I draw more of what I paint, but I'm getting into it by reading books and practicing. And your painting made me really inspired because this is how I want to paint like. Very beautiful colors and shapes, keep up the good work.
tried to casually get into art one time in my life, and I just dont understand how this is possible. This is the kind of art that needs appreciation, not the dumb "intellectual" perfect circle on a canvas
I saw a young lady materialize and walk herself out of a building made of paint at one point. It wasn't even an illusion, it was just exactly what the artist was trying to do. That was a trip to see. Beautiful piece.
Interesting. The strokes appear very confident. Starting to come together as of 5:09. Prior to that I thought I saw what looked like a WALK/DONT WALK sign. It's amazing how our brains create images from a few simple stokes, but as of selecting the video, we already knew it was a street scene. Regardless, it's amazing how realistic Impressionism can be, and all from daubs, and blobs of paint. However I have a funny feeling that bodies of water, and wet streets make it easier for the artist to create an image everyone will recognize. Because if the viewer is unable to identify a given object, the reflection effect will probably clinch if for them. I fast forwarded to the end. Great job.
Wait, I thought “art” was poking holes in a paint bucket and stringing the bucket from the ceiling then letting the bucket splash paint everywhere…. You’re telling me it actually takes TALENT?!! NOWAY!!
Beautiful, just by the direction in which the cars were driving I was to guess the artist must have been from Japan, Austrailia oir England, Austrailia it is 🙂. Beautiful
It’s amazing how a chaotic scene like this can leave a lasting memory of calm in our minds….perhaps the shimmering caused by the rain juxtaposed against a noisy messy place we normally would want to flee from!?
