I really like this application of James 1.19 and Matt7 1-5. Helping people think correctly clearly about God and how this interacts with our History, training up, and our integrated lives. Applying Jesus in every area of our mind, brain, and lives, in Roles and Responsibilities. Thank you!

Thank you for this, so helpful. I am a spiritual director but before I trained with the Jesuits here in Ireland, I was corresponding with Eugene Peterson. He told me that what I had to remember was that the main thing in spiritual direction was to show up and shut up! I never forgot that.

I have been listening this in parts, so hence my second comment! Trevor said that somebody should write a book on Jesus as Spiritual director. When I had to write my dissertation for my BA in applied Theology, one of the books that I used was: "Jesus, our spiritual director" A Pilgrimage through the gospels, by Wendy J. Miller, Upper Room publication. Thank you again for a wonderful interview.
