Renovate a Bathroom by Painting Tiles: Low Cost Renovation
Hello everyone and welcome to the channel.
I honestly share with you my experience painting a bathroom. This is not a paid promotion or collaboration.
I used the authentic range of paints because I had heard very good reviews and good results with them, so I took a chance.
I have to say that the shower part is the most complicated and I will give you some useful tips:
1º Do not paint a bathroom if you cannot let the shower area dry for a long time. The humidity will lift it. I let the paint cure for more than a week.
2º The more layers of Primer the better, minimum 2.
3rd. Let the Primer dry 48 hours before painting if you can.
4º Do not put furniture and shelves when the paint finishes drying. It rises when touched.
5º Use a good flocked roller, those that look like peach skin.
6º I have a window in the bathroom and there is almost no humidity, I don't know what the result will be in very humid bathrooms.
7º Be careful when removing the painter's tape, the paint can be removed when you peel it off.
The color I used is Casablanca from the Versante Mate range of Auténtico
I hope it is useful to you and if you have questions, leave it in the comments.
All the best
