🥰 thanks so much!! Oh, so many ideas have been brewing in my mind but we can’t wait to go all out with the coffee bar first! Lots of chic mugs, tea cups and saucers, display jars, small vases and cutting boards. It’s not always easy finding exactly what we have in mind but the hunt is worth it! 👀 We’re looking for modern pieces that mix well with 60s/70s vintage 🍸🥃

Hi there!! Fun!! Where are you headed? There’s so many amazing places throughout Italy but Tuscany has my heart 😊 Rob and I designed our kitchen from the ground up and had our carpenter build it. It took us months to plan and figure out where we wanted to place everything and to find the right materials 😅 we started with a list of must haves and the appliances. Our carpenter did such an amazing job executing our vision!
Curious why you chose mid-century in an Italian villa - is that the era the house was built? Very cool result, btw. So glad you did the quartzite sink - are you happy with it? Hood is a brilliant design as well - good call.
😊 thanks so much for your kind message! we really wanted to stay true to the original time period the villa was built (1960s) and this was also our favorite period for architecture and design. We’re taking loads of inspiration from Italian architects and designers like Carlo Scarpa and architects from the case study house project. Materials are so important to us and we love our new sink! We haven’t been able to use our kitchen quite yet so I’ll be sure to give an update when we finally have gas and use everything🤣
