Check out our back step! The old wobbly one is gone and we have a new one that matches the terrazzo tiles in the kitchen. We also corrected drainage on the patio and created a better flow & functionality in the kitchen. I'm sure we'll contine to add things as we go but it's starting to feel very comfortable to work in.
One of the first things I noticed with the new kitchen was I had nowhere to hang the teatowels. Some hooks added above the sink solved this problem. They are now readily available and looking tidy.
Next we tackled the space between the fridge and stove. We've said for a while now that a countertop is needed there so you have a spot to set your spatula and items you need at hand when cooking. I started with a sketch and made a handy little shelf to match the shelf I made beside the dishwasher. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
