The devs talked on one of the interviews online about the server caps and they said 100 players which isnt much unless the map is small.. Hopefully we will get a server tool to increase it to 200-300 players like rust to have the most fun and chaos in big battles... also from this interview the one map idea yeah it looks pretty and all but from other games like conan exiles or ark if you just play the same map people will find best spots to build and repeat it every wipe fighting for the same spots.. map generator although it looks less pretty and isn't designed by artists the same a single map would be gives fresh feeling every wipe and makes things more interesting for people its a shame its not a priority because the game is soooo good
Hot spots for resources so you’re basically making the game for large groups who will control those areas. So the solos or even small groups don’t stand a chance
Catapults like the big ones portrayed being used for sieges apparently didn’t exist. I would like to see a smaller version like the real ones if they are going for realism. I don’t really now a lot about this though so it would be best to research it.
i mean if your going for realism it would be a war of attrition, because almost all seiges in real life never actually came down to fighting because it was way to costly.
I know the video old but are there plans to add new stuff into the game to keep it alive like rust does? And how would you do so? How could you keep adding to medieval without taking it out of that era
I would like to see a server that has two teams of 50, that would fight over land/monuments or even relics that give some sort of buff. or may give you resources or something
@@lilhomie6234 hi mate, you need to get the loyal edition at least so you can play right now the alpha (raid system). its about 65 AUD (about 43 dollar), its no problem if u want to upgrade it you can write a ticket in their discord and you can play, the devs are rly helpful there :)
No offline raid protection is gonna get so abused, it always does in every single pvp game, its gonna be a very bad move from the developers, especially on the release. The game is gonna get a burst of players in the beginning and 75% will abondon the game because of the offline raiding. Big clans will just hoard materials in the daytime and wait until midnight - early morning and raid the shit out of people. Its gonna be a hardnerd game quite quickly and the more casual- normal players will think its not worth the grind and leave the game. Learned this while playing Reign of Kings, luckily this game got protection after a while, but most of its players had already left the game because of hackers and offline raiders.
then dont play a pvp game like this. if they dont put in the protection then people lost everything. people complain. if they dont put in the protection then people lost all their stuff and need to repair again. people complain. so in the end of the day no matter how to deal with the raiding people will complain. raiding is part of a game like this. if you dont like it then play on a pve only server.
this is literally reign of kings. there is no difference at all. good luck with your game, hopefully you hire some more people so you can press CTRL+C and CTRL+V faster.
