After visiting Smeerboel festival in Utrecht last week I wanted to honour a man who is a huge inspiration for me: David Vunk. His distinct sound has made a lasting memory in my brain. In this mix there's a lot of his work (new and old) but I also included records from artists of his record label Moustache Records. I really enjoyed further filling the mix with other records from Dutch labels based in Utrecht and Delft. I hope to pick up al lot more of David's records in the future to mix with because this was a lot of fun to make.
