In this video I am going to show you and discuss what it is like renting a car when flying to or from Las Vegas Harry Reid airport.
We were looking for a car to get us to Laughlin Nevada then back to the airport.
I could have rented a car from the hotel (Paris) but it would have cost way more.
They have a car repositioning fee that they add to the bill the cheapest way for us was to go the airport hub.
Trying to explain all of this the best that I can with the footage I have.

Just returned from MCO/ Orlando. The car rental- Enterprise- had us pick our car too. We like this change vs. assigned. Guessing its the Staffing shortages that brought this change, but its a good one. Been to Vegas car rental center. It is odd being separate from airport. We always rent a car. We explore areas, be lost without one. It does cost but worth it for us.

Thanks Jennifer, I'm with you I don't ever rent a car when we go to Vegas , Uber, Lyft and the trams , we even used the monorail for the first time when we were there last month. Lol walkingvis my preferred mode as well.

Best way to experience Vegas! The street hustlers were out in FULL force between Paris and miracle mile. We found it most pleasant walking around early morning.

Laughlin is a good ride away. I think there is a bus you could take there. Don't like driving if I don't have to. Laughlin is a nice place. Visit Sam's Town in Laughlin and The Pioneer Club. The Colorado Belle closed years ago. I wouldn't rent a car in Las Vegas.

We always use the car rental place.. never had any problems or long lines, i guess we were lucky! lol...we always rent a car for trips outside vegas like red rock canyon or hoover dam...also trips to Kingman and Laughlin Thanx!

never ever book with fox rental in Vegas, horror show!!!, its 2 shuttle busses from the airport.

thanks jennifer, great video...do you need to buy insurance if you already have personal car insurance on your private car?...or does the credit card cover that?...i never rented a car before

I’m sorry for the delay answering. If you have personal insurance you should be all set. You may want to check with your provider tho. I don’t know if all insurance plans are like that.
