I'm 70 yrs old, like you I feel I'm a teenager...saya balikan ang ala ala ng mga songs ng beatles.. Isa ako sa tagahanga nila.. But now I'm an avid fan of the Reo brothers.. Thank you Reo brothers for the music!!
And what more.. it is the feeling you get of being in your teens again. Beach Boys cant play for us anymore and this is the bestest we can get to get that feeling again !!
63 year old Huntington Beach California resident (Surf City) loves The REO brothers! Driving down PCH, with the top down, listening to these guys, gives me goosebumps! I don't know if you notice but those bass lines are really tight to pull off specially Surfin USA and he is killing it insanely good!! Pure muscle memory doing the work and he's just having fun with it. This is sooo unfair! LOL

To capture that Southern California vibe without maybe having been to those beaches mentioned in the songs speaks to the level of musical maturity of these boys. If in the future you’re able to venture in this part of the world I (and my wife, another avid fan) would willingly drive you around to all the beaches around Southern California as long you all will sing while cruising the Pacific Coast Highway. 😀😀😀
Then again, the Philippines has so many great beaches (It’s composed of more than 7,000 islands). They were bound to have visited at least one gorgeous tropical beach.

These kids are extraordinary. the way they slide into a groove of any song .I know only two groups that can pull this Bee Gees and The Beatles that is amazing company

So the rhythm guitar player’s voice sounds like John, the bass player’s like Paul, and the drummer’s sounds scary close to Brian Wilson. And the lead guitar player just nails it every time. I’m totally blown away by how good you guys are!

And please don’t mind those people who keep criticizing your Visayan accents, you are making us happy in these difficult times, that’s all that matters, and we’re very grateful for that. VERY, VERY NICE!!! I bought my first Beach Boy Album at Gemco when it was first released so I've been a fan for many years and have seen The Beach Boys many times in person over the years. We also bought Crimson Sound (The Beach Boys last recording studio at the time in Santa Monica CA) from Brian Wilson in 1980. I've had the good fortune to have met most of them at one time or another. My opinion is that this group is incredibly good...they could probably stand in for The Beach Boys at a concert. The only other Beach Boy "cover group" that's this good is The Fendertones (they've actually recorded with a couple original Beach Boy members). WELL DONE!!!
A month ago I got introduced to this amazing REO Brothers band, Re: New Kid in Town, Eye in the Sky and Ventura Highway. I said to myself, amazing covers. Then I watched/heard you play Beatles' songs and others... my goodness, I got hooked, line and sinker ever since! I shared your videos to my sister and friends and asked them to subscribed too. When I watch Reo Brothers, I watch it four times, I watch and listen to each guy and how they do and what they do, maybe I can learn something, a super beginner guitarist here.
