a lot of comments I read before saying that they need to have their own song, but for me I want them to stay as a tribute band because they bring back the old music and it entertains a lot of RU-vidrs especially the senior netizens, let's accept the fact that the reason why we're amazed by this group is that they play the oldies music as perfect as the original and we know that it's not possible anymore to see the original bands to perform again most of them are disbanded or members have died
I agree Sir He has amazing talent, also the intrument sound effect of the keyboard almost negligible difference compared to the original. salute to them!
Agree with u they can do it all they r amazing brothers thats what i would like about them they have their own voices vocals n most of all sing it beautifully with their guitars
I'm listening to this on my phone, took out my headset and played it on speaker. All of a sudden my wife beside me cried. These were her dad's favorites along with the Beatles hits. Now I can only listen to you on headsets... too bad! I can't allow another tear fall from my wife's eyes for missing her dad who passed away a couple of years ago. You guys touch souls and bring back great memories. Thank you for the music!
I'm so sorry for the passing of your father-in-law. I know exactly how your wife feels I've lost my parents and my older brother. The pain eventually eases but the sadness lingers. Memmoriers make up for it all. God bless you both. She's lucky she has a man like you who cares & understands.
And we forget Kirk Hammet, apl.de.ap, Dave Bautista, Mark Dacascos - with a little bit of Filipino ancestry - all amazing people with mountains of talent..
My wife was upstairs and hearing but not seeing. She thought it was The Bee Gees. You guys are incredibly good. Unbelievable. I love that you are keeping this great music alive. The original performers if even alive can’t do it like they used to so this keeps the old music alive.
I had this video playing when the phone rang; I picked up the receiver and, after some time into the conversation the person at the other end of the line asked, "...By the way, I like that (Bee Gees) mix that you're listening to! Send it to me..."
Subic Bay Philippines in ‘72 while in the Marines I saw many cover bands and bragged on em for years to my wife. I told her that they were unbelievably talented. Saw a guy do Joe Cocker and I couldn’t believe it, gyrations and all....then another spot light came on on the other side of the stage and there was another guy and the were mirroring each other. One would sing then the other, it was mind blowing! These guys are exceptional but it doesn’t surprise me after what I’ve seen from there. Best part....wife NOW believes me!
a lot of cruise ships have Filipino bands/entertainers too. Same with hotels and other entertainment spots in Asia. LOL, I even heard stories wherein those performers cannot even speak straight English and you cannot understand their accents but once they start singing the accents disappear and you would be hearing Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Elvis Presley voices coming out.
Yes, yes, yes...whenever I gathered with friends, I kept reminding them that the very best entertainment city in the early 70s through 92 (I think this was the year our naval base closed permanently) was none other than Olongapo City. The magnificent covers were being played nightly right outside the gate of Naval Base Subic Bay. The most talented Filipinos musicians were there jamming and entertaining not only U.S. Sailors and Marines, but also locals folks. Although I am a Tondo Boy (born and raised in Manila) by heart, when our aircraft carrier deployed toTonkin Gulf, Vietnam, all of us aboard couldn’t hardly wait to our port visit in Subic Bay.
Fun fact! I grew up in Manila. I do remember my neighbor, they do have a rockband and they can imitate rock legends i.e. Eagles, Bread, Deep Purple etc... Every now and then they disappear just to learn that they go to Japan and makes lots of money. Those early years Filipinos are already been going abroad as an OFW's ( overseas worker).
I think there are no other band that would want to cover Bee Gees and number one reason is the pitch (falsetto) which is very hard to imitate but for this goddamn REO brothers! It's just a piece of cake .A BIG SALUTE BROTHER!
You are truly putting the American pop music scene to shame. These live recordings you are making will live on for ages and hopefully they will rejuvenate our dying band scene over here. You totally prove that bands can still be successful with more than one singer, where everyone gets along without wanting all the fame, and you all play your own instruments. Not to mention you pick songs that are not only good, but they fit your voices. I hope you stay together as a band. Keep doing this all on your own! Don’t let a US record company poison your art. You have proven you can manage creative control on your own.
This is just effortlessly unbelievable....I've been a professional musician and songwriter...played guitar for 25 years...I've heard almost everything...it is impossible not to smile at 3:42...that transition is just flawless.
You know how hard it is to do the Bee Gees? Not anyone can copy them, but these guys did a more than decent job, and that's say a lot because like I said, the Bee Gees are very difficult to copy.. Good going guys.
When my cousin posted this band on his face book page i was not even interested but somehow i ended up checking them out. So I click the link, put on my head set and play the film. Well not even a minute later I was rocking on my chair singing along with them!! Wow what a blast!! As of this writing this is probably the 10th you tube video I'm listening and watching!!Dan he killed this Bee Gees song ( drummer) I mean all of them! Love it !! Sing with them if you're going to watch their videos. Lots of fun.!
It's doubly - even triply - harder to cover a Bee Gees song while doing the vocals at the same time. Instrumentation is quite complicated. Robin is not known to use an instrument, while Maurice uses the keyboards on very limited basis. REO Brothers do both, and do justice to the original pieces. Mind blowing!
Definitely agree to applaud the REO Brothers on their amazing work; however, one correction Maurice always played keys, guitar, or bass live (and Robin played some keys in the studio in the ‘60’s.)
Close your eyes put the headphones on loud and you would swear they're the originals singers . most amazing talented singers I've ever heard. Absolutely beautiful💞
I've been a fan of these lads now for a long time and they are by far THE BEST tribute band of many styles of class music you will ever hear ..there's no one to touch them and I'm saying this as a musician of over 45 years .. they truly are a class act and are rightfully taking the media and social networks by the neck and giving them a damn good shaking ! .. I just HAVE to see and meet these incredible guys … love them to bits!
I use to Live in the Philippines back in the 70's when the whole Bee Gees Group was Alive, and Touring! I remember seeing a Ton of Great Bands Playing out in the Filipino Night Clubs back then. They are just as Great Today! Under Rated!! The Filipino People are Great People Too! 💯❤ Great Job on the Medley! Tight Vocals! Nice Transitions between Band Members on the Keys, and Guitar! It Sounded Great!!!
Nanonood ako ng video ng hearing sa congress tungkol sa philhealth ng biglang nakita ki ito, pinanood ko tapos sunod sunod na di ko namalayan 3:00 oclock na pala ng umaga.
Best thing in doing a REO Babad or indulgence is you get to listen beautiful music and enjoy reading the usual happy comments from all ages. Keep it up RJ, Ralph, Raymart and Reno. Mabuhay!!
OMG YOU are ALL FANTASTIC, the DRUMMER FANTASTIC, the BASS player FANTASTIC, the KEYBOARDIST FANTASTIC, the RHYTHM GUITARIST, FANTASTIC, I sincerely love you ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's no one that can copy the voice of bee gees but you guys, what a wonderful band of the reo brothers.drop a like if you agree. stay safe everyone😌😊✋🙂😁😀❤Btw can you cover '' i want to be your everything" by Andy Gibb😀😁🙂Thanks!🙂😊
Truly faithful cover of these fave songs from my 70s idols, the Bee Gees. I was a hapless young professional scouring the best disco clubs in Chicago on weekends with friends when these songs were the rage . Thank you Reo Bros You’re awesome, kababayans. .
I used to go on treadmill daily for 30 minutes while listening to music of eagles, beatles, APP, beegees, america, etc. one day I tried REO brothers' new kid in town (been hearing some noise about this group. Now I'm on treadmill daily for 1 hour, most of the time extended to 10 more minutes to cool down. I'm hooked to REO's music now. :) Thanks REO Brothers I have never enjoyed my jogging like this before.
Us musicians know this level of expertise comes with thousands of hours of work, even people with natural talent like these fellas. I'll bet they can act as well. Maybe write theme songs and star in movies. They look perfect for that. I guess it's all about agreed aspirations, families, etc. No matter, they'll always have top knotch careers even in this world of musical "dispersion". Thanks, thanks fellas!!
Reno doesn't sing lead on their songs except the Bee Gees and he nails it. He could have been a Gibb brother born 40 years too late. I dare anyone to listen to him blind and not swear it was Robin or Barry Gibb. Every one of these brothers including young Roymark are superbly talented musicians.
Holy crap! If I had heard this on the radio, I would have thought it was Barry singing with his brothers. Since Andy, Maurice and Robin have passed and Barry can no longer sing like he used to, the world needs you guys to carry on their musical legacy. Please don't ever stop. You guys are awsome!!
The Reo Brothers turned up on my feed last year at only 30k subscribers. I’m so happy today they’re at 156k. Incredible and they deserve it cause they’re so good.
Shelter-in-place has enabled these brothers to endear themselves to their appreciative followers and to reach a wider audience with their weekly offerings. I, too, am so very happy for them.
Mannn,,, not only I enjoy the REO Brothers music I also enjoy all the peoples comments. It helps my days to be positive 24/7 lol! seriously.,. Everyday I look forward to see their videos. I also let the ads finish just to appreciate them. Some ads actually gives me some more knowledge about various health problems and how to battle them. A huge thanks to the talented REO Brothers! Love them👍👏😄❤️
Same here and I would also try to like everyone’s comment! Love it that people from all over the world are connecting because of these awesome fellas ❤️😍😆
My goodness you are fantastic, thank you ,you Shust make my day soo beautifull listening to you guys, and you play the instruments that means you are ten times better than The Bee Gees in self, thank you, thank you, thank you ,see you in the Philippines if God let me.
I was in the kitchen cooking when I heard this music coming from the living room. I thought hubby was playing our cd of the Beegees. I was in college listening to Beegees so I was dancing to the music. It was nonstop. I was surprised when hubby said REO Brothers daw from Tacloban. Wow! They’re amazing! Really amazing! After dinner, I sat with hubby watching them. Then I would close my eyes from time to time to enjoy the music going down memory lane of my high school and college days. Kudos to this talented brothers!!!
Oh Wowwww!!!! How awesome can this be? the reborn of the Bee Gees sound!! Thank you Boys and hats off to the drummer who has been hiding behind his younger brothers. Each one of them has its own perfect sound . More power to you all!! God has given you so much gift! Take good care of and stay humble always for God will give you more and more blessings! 😇🤩🙏🏼🌈❤️🕊💃🏼
