Well yes because of the fact events of 06 got erased, the fact remains they still happened (since Sonic Team has continously poked at it and even highlighting it with Silver and Blaze as though they worked together before or how Blaze even says in Gens after completing a mission will say if you go to talk to her she never imagined she would ever be back here again meaning she got her memory of the place returned) and so when Time Eater is messing with time places like Crisis City were already within the white void/space long before it started stuff.

Incorrect. 06 still exists in a separate timeline. And the Time Eater extracted Kingdom Valley and Crisis City from that one. And the silver fight isn’t the old one. Its an entirely new fight, and he fights sonic because he’s not sure if its really sonic or some sort of monster made by the time eater whos after the chaos emeralds. Point being 06 still exists whether yall like it or not

Time Eater managed to bring back Iblis when it somehow managed to bring Crisis City back There’s a pretty good chance Kingdom Valley was chosen so Shadow could face off against Mephiles. Shadow’s facing off against his past here, and if Black Doom is willing to dig up Biolizard then he’d absolutely bring Mephiles in to screw with Shadow

Well shadow was half created from black doom and he has black doom DNA and he said he got new powers from it so shadow is going to unlock the power through the stages. This is just my opinion.

That description for Shadow's "doom powers" made me think that that's their way of giving Shadow a mechanic similar to the vehicles from his game (and 06's) without giving him the vehicles again.

The Steam Storepage also has some new images and one of them shows the chao celebrating Sonic's birthday. Which I assume is supposed to explain why the chao are hidden in the stages in the first place

The building in the Shadow Hub world looks like it's from Secret Rings.(That or Arid Sands) While some of the paths look like ones from Black Knight. Probably not but it does look like it.

My theory for Shadow's wings is that he somehow learns to tap into his Black Arms DNA in order to use these kinds of cools new abilities. Black Doom is back after all.

I thought the shadow part was only going to be about 3 hours. but now we have a new open zone and it's way too big to just be a hub world. This combined with the free DLC in Frontiers Sega is really convinced that the open zone is the future for Sonic

We all called it Sonic’s Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury before, but we never expected this. Also, I’m not sure if I want to preorder the Digital Deluxe Edition or the physical edition. On the one hand, Gerald Robotnik’s journal, and physical trumps digital. But on the other hand, Terios skin.

- i love the inclusion of Gerald's diary, also the fact that not everyone knows that the Master Emerald exists because Angel Island is a lost to time location - Doom's >Eye is just a part of Black Doom, so they are by all intents & purposes the same - bro! the Time Eater looks good tho - Kingdom Valley showing a perfect example of Graphical Fidelity vs Asthetic - well, the HubWorlds in Generations aren't as big as the StarFall islands so one would hope they could optimize them better

The Westopolis level is confirmed to be a corrupt "Radical Highway", and the Final Chase level is "The Ark" from Shadow the Hedgehog. Gameplay of both was released and their themes are from The Ark and Radical Highway respectively.

Actually, Kingdom Valley was quite the significant level to Shadow's lore, as it was there that Mephiles was released. In fact, Kingdom Valley is one level that's relevant to all stories in 06.

I think the extra shadow story is cool and all but I do feel people who already have sonic generations (especially on Steam) kind of get scammed with this since they literally already have one half of the game so paying more for the shadow stuff just feels wrong to me.

I just hope this game isn't like 60-80$ because sonic generations already is pretty short with a length of about 3-5 hours but maybe 8 hours or heck even 10 don't justify that price for me. So i may wait for a discount.

50 is insane for what is mostly a 13 year old game. On steam the og game is 20 bucks and it went on sale for 5 so often. I’m not getting this game until the deluxe version goes below 20 at least.

Kingdom valley does look a little better tbh. If you look at the castle the bricks are a lot more detailed. In the original 06 it looks more flat. The grass looks pretty bad though like it’s not improved from 06. Also if you can tell, the hubworld looks a lot like soleanna.

Ok Sega hear me out. "Inhales" if, and that's a big IF this game is gonna be amazing, then I have but one single request of one thing that always bothered me a lot, and that was the consuming of rings when super form, loosing 2-3 rings per second and 5-10 when boosting in the individual stages not counting time eater, it was so frustrating to try and finish a stage as super cause you'd need the double amount of rings just to play the stage at a decent pace. Please make it the classic 1 ring per second, and then 2-3 when boosting.

It's the original design (and name) of what Shadow was supposed to look like, he's literally "Shadow Ver.0". Terios is the whole reason Adventure 2 did that whole "People confuse Sonic with Shadow" in its Story, since as you can plainly see, he looks MUCH more similar.
