Thanks for the Review, I bought it before learning I needed a newer model NVR. So I sent back my camera. Talked to Reolink support to find this out. But I still liked this camera, so I just bought a new NVR and 2 of these cameras, which were all on sale. I think I will still keep my other cameras running but use these for my main views. I use a couple 32" monitors in my house just to stay updated as to what is going on. I have had the police come to me for a video of when my neighbors have been broken into. They mostly have alarm systems, but after two weeks, no one pays them any attention. But no one wants their pictures taken. Enjoy
This is my favorite Reolink Camera and I have 4 different models! It's the best picture, largest viewing angle and I love the motion sensor lights to keep away the bad guys! I would use all DUO 3 cameras if I could afford it! Thanks for watching!
I don't believe so. They do support API on older cameras (2023) but I'm not sure about the newer Duo 3. Here is Link to the 2023 Reolink Camera API User Guide: bit.ly/3nF4mB5. Hope this helps.
Hi Ultimate Tech Hub, We are a security camera company that has been in business for 15 years and we would like to partner with you to promote our cameras.
Its the best floodlight Reolink camera I've ever used. Picture quality is amazing during the day and night. The wide field view is also outstanding. If you have a large area to cover then this camera replaces 2 cameras. The sound quality is pretty good too. I'm going to install 1 more in the front of my house.
You could just connect the bracket with the one hole at the top. Just make sure you screw it in tight and maybe even use a slightly larger screw that's a little longer so it goes in deeper. Otherwise, contact Reolink for the spare part, tell them Mike from Ultimate Tech Hub recommended you. Keep me posted and thank you for watching!
I'm a rebel! Lol! I had to do it that way because of the cameras position under the roof line. If the camera was lower then I would have installed the other way. It works well and zero issues so no big deal. Thanks for watching!
Would the camera record continuously and storage in the sd card without Internet connection, just being powered? Can I have a full clip of 2hours storaged or the video would be divided in multiple clips?
Maybe Im ignorant, but Ill never understand a "security" camera system that you can access by phone/ wifi. If you can see it on the app, so can they. How is this secure?
umm, you need to be on the network and have the login/password at a minimum. it has to be added first at setup, typically via ip or a qr code on the camera itself, and they need to be on your lan to begin with which should also be secure... any random cant just look at it lol. did you really think they overlooked that?
@@cryengine_x dude, the highest levels of our government intelligence agencies get hacked. They also have access to everything about us thanks to the Patriot Act. You really think that camera system isnt vulnerable?
All systems are vulnerable to hackers including your TVs, smart devices and computers. It's still a great camera and a great value. Thabk you for watching..
@@UltimateTechHub and that said hacking is very rare nowdays. for example windows computers used to be hacked often but it's not much of a thing anymore, very difficult.
