On the 20th/21st of August, 2022, MOTAT hosted one of their live days for the first time in over a year. Due to the Covid lockdowns, MOTAT was forced to shut down for most of their operating season.
This video features locomotives Y 542 and L 507, which are both small tank engines. Watch to the end and you may find a bit of double heading...

Oh so how much to have those tank engines running 6km shuttles daily between Lebrina and Wyena. New Zealand leading the way yet again.

If I was rich with money I would ask for permission to fund or invest in a project to join this track with the main line so that the ride could be longer wouldn't that be cool... line is short.
