Trump inherited multiple months of positive economic growth and an annual GDP growth rate north of 2%. Nothing trump did increased the growth rate beyond what he inherited. That makes no sense. Ignoring all other history, people were over bidding like crazy in the past few years. Appraisals aren't legally binding anyway. It's an educated guess if the appraiser is honest. Given the history of this country, there's been many instances of white appraisers screwing over black households. The appraisal might not even be an educated guess.

I have to disagree about the $25,000 down payment is going to make people raise the prices of houses. That's ridiculous. The market is going to dictate the prices. It will give more people buying power for down payments. Right now it's only $10,000 right now which if that's all you have it will only cover a house worth $100,000 to $150,000. You can't buy a house for that amount in too many places.
