True, individual billionaire tax is different from corporate tax. Should keep corporate tax low because they're the economic engine. That is not the same as trickle down economic. On the other hand, not all private research can take or prioritize long-term goals given the quarterly reports they have to give to investors. Gov has to be able to make inputs into the direction of long term research either by gov funded basic research or some other means...

Why is it every time a Democrat talk about cuts it’s always defense. If the federal government is responsible for anything, one huge thing is defense and that’s always the first thing Democrats wants to cut.
