Thank you for posting. I have my Daisy Buck 105 B ill be doing a restoration on. My older brother asked 4 years ago to use my first gun to get rid of his pidgeon infestation.... apparently its been left outside in the sun and rain for 3 years... woohoo!.... so now i have the blessing and the curse to restore my first pew pew. On one hand im extremely annoyed... on the other i get to make this baby pew look however i want at no cost to me! So yeah.... it still goes pew though, remarkably! If anyone has any tips on how to stain wood id be grateful. I can restore metal all day long with my eyes closed. Wood... is a totally different animal. At least to me. Thanks again for posting this!
I just finished my son's Red Ryder Carbine and I used a .177 brass brush to clean the tube & a 12 Ga. brass brush to clean & polish the chamber. What really picked up the speed was smoothing then polishing the Plunger Case and a light coat of molybdenum grease on it. Nice job and good video.
