I just did mine BUT... left the liner material off so no more problem with that ever. Scraped the dried glue off like he did. I used some paintable chaulk. Spread/ squirt on about a square foot section at a time. Took a 6" roller and spread evenly to acquire a textured look. Let dry. Painted. Good to go. Cheaper, quicker and never a problem again. 🙂👍
Nunca te debes subir o poner tus rodillas sobre el cielo o techo.. Ya qu dejas abollado el techo..y se empieza de la mitad hacia afuera para repartir el material y evitar que se te mueva y quede chueco..bueno cada quien trabaja a su modo..saludos

I really hate to say this since u really put in so much effort and thoughts. However, I have to say that it seems like incomplete, really hope u come out with some genius and do all the rest for match the tone. Good job 👏🏼 nonetheless.
Just a suggestion, I think it turned out pretty good especially the time you put into the fiber optic aspect of it but in the recessed areas and pockets, does that fabric stretch better with heat like from a hair dryer or heat gun? I've never done this before but I've seen it done and most of the time they'll use some heat to stretch the fabric into the recesses and such so that it will adhere completely in those areas and look more finished in the end. Other than that I think you did a pretty good job, not sure if I could do better...
Awesome job on how you were able to get the fabric to shape up with the contours of the headliner. I'm actually bout to do one one my e90 but I'm not really sure what kind of fabric material to go with. Upholstery shops tells me not to go with vynil or quilted diamond mat materials just like the one you are using. They say that it would never be able stretch and stick on the curves and contours of the headliner. Lol. Sheez! Whatever you did right there looks pretty amazing to me. Check this, I d9bt really wanna use a regular headliner fabric I was kinda hoping if you can hook me up with some tips or advice on how to do it with a quilted material like u used. Any input would be much appreciated. By the way , where'd you order that material?

That was an amazing job! Wish the visors and handles would have been updated too for a cleaner look, but maybe another time. Regardless, it was amazing!
Did the fabric have a lot of creases because of the shipping? The seller of the fabric said he has to fold the fabric, how did you get the creases out?

Why dont you do this out of your house or if you are going to make it inside, why dont you place a fabric under it to avoid pouring the glue on the ground?
Hola está muy bien. Hay cosas que tendrías que haber hecho al revés: tapizalo por la zona de los parasoles y luz central de cortersia, puesto que es la zona que más tela va a necesitar por los recovecos que tiene. Aunque ante sde todo esto, tendrías que haber planchado la tela. De todas formas es un buen vídeo! Pd: Qué cola has utilizado? Sigue aguantando el techo=?
