I am using a 3rd accelerator pedal after changing two of them, one under warranty and two of them I bought and I was charged alot for them. After using them for some few kms the malfunction light comes on the dashboard and when scanning was done it shows faulty accelerator pedal. Renault dealer here was charging a bomb for thr accelerator pedal which is equivalent to rs 10,000+ VAT for a single accelerator.After watching and understanding this video I can say that you saved me alot of money in the future bcs this problems persist and now I will repair them instead of buying. I will share this video with a lot of people here with similar problem as mine☺️. Thanks again brother for the dedication work you are showing of helping us customers. UPDATE: This method of repairing accelerator pedal for Renault Kwid actually works😁. So far we had fixed two faulty accelerator pedals in two Kwids which were not working. Thanks so much for this tutorial 🙏🏽, really appreciate your effort buddy 🖤

Great👍.I could not open the housing at first, waited for two days, finally got success. Rest was easy, simply applied cello tape and reassembled . The problem is gone. Hope rest of my rides are comfortable from now on.

The solution really worked. My car was having high acceleration at start up. The only problem is opening the pedal box. I actually broke 2 out of 5 locks. Not really easy to open. Overall the play problem got fixed and start up acceleration came back to normal

Good video, it really works. I'm thinking about using a strip of plastic bottle, photography film or x-ray. instead of adhesive tape as it should be more resistant to friction. I hope it works too.

Very well explained. I was having similar and mechanic replaced padel itself twice and now having issue in accelerating sometime instead of over racing with same signal in meter. How to fix this?
I had this issue. I bought new pedal from Bodmoo for 1000/- plus fitting of it. This is the second pedal I replaced in my car. Third class Chinese parts used in this car. Thank you for making such an informative video. Now we can get it repaired if the problem arises again and save money. God bless you. One other thing, my gear shift has become loose, when I accelerate I can feel it moving, what can be the solution for it?
@@quickfixproindia I have spent 30k in three years at 12k kms driven on this car. Though I love the ride quality of the Kwid which is the best in the segment. I have changed engine mounts twice in 12k. The Kwid develops a knocking sound at 1st 2nd gear pick up just after 6 months of purchase which then turns into clunking sounds when car goes on uneven surfaces. Need to change engine mounts to get it fixed. One engine mount in SC costs 2500/- (BMW engine mount is 3000/-) I got it from outside at 1250/- a piece.
Quick Fix Pro yeah u can try this. But the main issue is that if the root cause is not rectified then in future at any point ur car engine doesn’t starts then no local mechanic can rectify it. U have to tow it to service Center. I had not taken road side assistance from Renault so after my kiwd was not starting I purchased it and after activation of RSA (after 48 hrs) I complained abt the prob in kwid. So better not to ignore warning light malfunction alarm and get it checked in service Center.
@@hindu9591 Worst decision of our lives buying the Renault. I thought new car would give less trouble, but it gave more trouble and heavy on pocket than old car.
@@bumblequiz so true. But I was happy fooling Renault by purchasing RSA and after 48 hrs complaining that car is not starting. Got free towing for 220 kms. Too much trouble with Kwid.

No fim eu fui a autorizada para arrumar, já estava disposto a gastar um dinheiro pra me livrar desse problema de uma vez por todas, e para minha surpresa não me cobraram nada pois falaram que esse problema é um Recall da Renault. Trabalho com o carro em aplicativo, já estou a alguns dias rodando com o pedal novo e está tudo certo... Moro em Florianópolis e levei na autorizada Globo Renault, fica no bairro chamado: Estreito. Espero que resolva aí o problema. Leva na concessionária que vai dar boa, abraço mano
First of all, thank you brother, for your effort in making all this videos. you're saving lot of us kwid owners here. Now I have the same problem (kind of), that warning light only appears while vehicle is at Idle (no high RPM issue). but if I press the Accelerator Pedal even just a little, warning light go away, and come back when I release the paddle. what do you think of it, could this be resolves with similar approach. I really appreciate opinion on this. thank you sir.
Mai aapki video regular dekhta hu aap bahut अच्छा content banate hai लेकिन isme aapko cello tape ki jagah pvc ki sheet ka use karna चाहिए jo motor vinding me use ki jati hai vo ज्यादा din tak chalti cello tape कुछ din me nikal sakta hai aur pedal ko hard kar sakta hai. I have kwid rxt 2017 model. I showed it to a garage today. They said we have to check throughly. He was saying, ur connection of pedal is electrical and not mechanical.

Marvelous effort n input ... I had said about doing idling on kwid car ... So should we apply cello tape as shown in this video to set good idling ? Plz make a video on idling .. We want our kwid to give good milage and no harm to clutch plate . rpm should reduce immediately once we remove the leg from accelerator pedel ... Hope u understood my concern

Sir, I was facing high RPM issue after doing your remedy RPM issue is solved but still the malfunction light glows. My question is if I purchase the accelator from boodmo and replace it my self does it work? When I called Renault service center and asked for spears they refused to provide the spare and said it need to be programmed. Do it really need the programming for accelator after replacement? And they said it will be charged 1200 or 1300 including the service charge do I need to go with service center and do the replacement or can I purchase from Boodmo and replace my self? Please advise me on the same. Thanks in advance.

My kwid AMT RPM doesn't increases as it is in this video but if I pressed the accelerator the symbol goes off while releasing the accelerator it again shows... what will be the problem? How to solve it? Is it same washer problem ?
