Nice job for a rainy day huh. No telling how many end wrenches I’ve ground down to be able to get under the lock nut. Also I’ve heated with a torch to put a different angle or offset to get in somewhere. Yeah it weakens them a bit but who cares... a fellows gotta do what it takes to get it done. Wrenches are cheap compared to shop labor charges at a dealership. Btw.. I like the old Case LP in the background. Nice shed and nice toys sir !!
Triple T Ranch & Sawmill no I’ve not done one yet on my tractors. I’m fairly new to RU-vid and seem to remain extremely busy in spite of being retired. Many times I will be almost done with a project before I think of taking the time to video it. I’ll get around to a tractor video sooner or later. Just lazy I guess. Then again I’ve got a good number of them filmed on numerous subjects but haven’t had the time to dedicate to the editing. Again...just laziness on my part.
What was the white line you applied to the starter before installing it? I'm getting set to replace mine on the same quad and truly appreciate you making this video!
Jeremiah, sorry probably too late with this reply. When ever I take an electric motor apart, I will make a mark on each end so I can put it back exactly as it was. This was a trick I used as an AC repairman and it kept me out of trouble (wiring routing and such).
