Sir this video would be excellent without the background music, only with your knowledge, english subtitles and the beeps of the tool! That's all we need. Great job indeed, best regards from Italy 👋
I did find I have one that beeps on both... Thanks for the video🥇. Will check on cost for replacement or another motherboard if too costly to repair.... Music a bit loud, but desperation helped me bare it🥴💃🏾

I urge you to use some flux and maybe remove the old solder/add new one. What you did is most likely a cold joint and won't last long IMHO. Nice video though!
hello...would you mind if i ask...kakabili ko lng ng Gigabyte Motherboard...as i test it wala pong signal ang LAN PORT..ano po possible na deffect nito?
Pretty cool, music too damn loud. Hard to hear the multimeter. Got a question though. Why didnt you use flux removing the mosfet. And putting one back on.
I wonder, in a video so important what is the need for background music? if the test involves listening to the short, what does that add? lowered the video engagement to 30%.
for those interested on my repair. i followed his steps, since i dont have the beeper feature, i used the ohm feature of my tester and i noticed 1 pin has 0ohm resistance and 1 pin has about 100000ohm resistance for good mosfet. for bad mosfet, both pins have 0 ohm resistance. i just salvaged a mosfet from another motherboard. though not the same, it seems to work but not sure for how long
Daaamn thank you so much bro i sent to one technician he said my motherboard got short circuit can't be repaired so buy new but your video made me to do it by myself please can you share use the tools used by you so i can arrange
Can you repair board for public? Have a project board that needs a new socket would love to see it fixed. Don't mind buying the part and paying for the time to see it fixed.
Congratulations on your first video. Pretty informative. I have done this test in one of my faulty motherboards and two of the mosfets beep for a short time, not continuously. Does this mean they are broken? Thanks!
hello how are you,,, nice video very informative well done,,, i have a question a have H81 mobo, you can turn on the unit but not in the power pin of the mobo but on the terminal of the psu ( 3&4 or 4&5) . thanks
mosfet should be the same when I replace it flux not necessary as I see or what and hot air very enough to solder the mosfet or I can use any other ways please answer as soon as u get this *By The Way, You Did Great Job*
1. no it can be any mosfet with right channel, package and minimally tha same or higher amperage 2. flux is NESSESSARY anytime when soldering 3. u can ose hotair, infrared or laser beam. soldering is just heating
Very Good congratulation One question for the gun how much for the force of the air and how many degrees thank you very much explain I understand you better with you
Bruce Lee i use cellkit 805d, it like gordak or else, but not like hakko. I use 4 for air flow, and 4-4,5 for hot (about 330c-360c). But in high motherboard it's more hot than low med motherboard
The loud background music is drowning out the beeps from the mosfet when you were checking them. Cant hear them clearly. Nice video but spoilt by the background music.
So the open is bypassed without the CPU power plugged in. But when the CPU is plugged in it re routes the connection but ends continuity because of the open thus shutting down all power anywhere on the board.
I have the same problem, the fan stopped running after 4 pin is connected. But all the mosfet beep on single leg. What are others inspection should I do?
Where I have to send my motherboard? I cannot boot into BIOS because I keep getting Memory Error LED. I tried 4 different sticks in every single slot one at a time.
thank you for this explanatory video. i have a strix z270f which took an over voltage. only the red led (power supply) lights up. I like to do the investigation that you recommend. what is the name of the card inserted in PCI. is there a similar one for my model? what is the name of the heat gun? thank you in advance for your time
Video would have been educational 100% if 40% wasn't lost trying no to hear the music noise so you could concentrate, No one can concentrate on something 100% at the same time, It's impossible.
2:20 Open MOSFET?? That's a short there -_- And who solders replacements without removing the old RoHS unleaded solder? Do it the right way, flood the area with generous amounts of solder flux and wick the old crusty solder. Tin the pads with good solder (leaded one lol) and rework back the MOSFET. Clean with IPA.
When a semiconductor reads continuity to ground on a lead that is not supposed to read to ground, it's not open! And a beeper is not a way to check resistance. you lucked out, we lost 6:24.
