Nice job ! I converted a similar RCA Orthophonic ( 6-HF-5) record player to a guitar amp. The tone circuit was a simpler design so I changed it similar to a Fender 5D3 and three prong plug.
You let the magic smoke escape from the circuit. Once the smoke escapes, the amp will never wrk right again. It’s all about the magic smoke. Gotta keep it in the wires!
