Repairing A Vintage Tomy Pac Man from 1982 

This brings back memories. I wanted the classic stand up mini arcade back in the day of pac-man for my birthday but my parents got me this one. I hated it when I saw it. But played the crap out of it and ended up really enjoying it. Neat to see it again. I should look to find one someday to add to my retro collection of some old stuff I had as a kid.

My friend had one of these. I played it back in '89.

Great video as usual and did you win? Fun fact: the design of alkali batteries was not quite the same as the original Zinc chloride (Dry cell), the + positive terminal of the Zinc chloride battery had a slightly smaller diameter and protruded more. This made some early products not compatible with alkali batteries as the did not touch or were prevented from touching the contacts. Also in some small current draw devices it is better to use the longer shelf life of a zinc cell. BTW I also have a Fluke 77 RS component multi meter won when I achieved runner up in the Pye Phillips apprentice of the year award many years ago :-), still my go to for accurate readings.
