@RentThisFlipThat my gf and I inherited an old house ( 1902 cabin) in west ky, and it's been a huge eye opener. Not only am I not a carpenter, I'm not much of a plumber or electrician either; all three of these trades have become my new extra curricular activities. ...Learning the principles and lingo have been the easy part. What hasn't been so easy is the frozen/ busted water line(s), collapsing floor joists, extremely poorly drained soil on the negative n/west side of our house, etc. Etc. Etc. All of these new emerging demands came calling on me almost immediately after moving in ( Dec ). It can get heavy while maintaining a healthy relationship with the misses, and all the while continuing to pursue outside business as usual. ...It has paid off in spades, to remember to use one day each week to step away and enjoy the outdoors etc. ( Ive also benefitted from keeping at least 3 major ( imperative yet non time restraining) projects going on at all times to allow focus to step from one to another to protect myself from "burn-out"... ...Thank God for the good content creators who have supplemented my new found interests. It's been one hell of a year, and it's just starting to become fun! ...I'll send pics if you care to see the progression we are "messing" with in the old ky home, of ours.

Man, this is so good to hear.Glad you are learning all the trades and being able to take care of things by yourself is very rewarding. Had another comment like this - maybe this will help. I know sometimes I get so wrapped up in the work I forget to hit record. However there is another video on our channel where we replace rotted subfloor if you're interested. I'll leave the link here. Thanks for the comment. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y5PcmLjb4kI.html

Pesi is not a coke. A makita circular saw is not a skil saw. You know what I mean right, come on! Here, let me make you feel good. Yep, you're right. You got me. Thanks for the comment.

@@RentThisFlipThat OSB is a completely different product than plywood, it is NOT just a different brand like you stated, it is a complete different process and good for a very different use than plywood, while some uses may cross over, it is NOT the same.
